Back in her hotel room Lexi jumped in the shower and then climbed into bed. Reaching for her phone she checked to see if there were any messages from Liz or Leanne. As she lifted it from the side table she realized she had a missed call and a message from the same number. Not recognizing it she opened her messages, it was from Gary.
'I'm really glad you thought it was magical and I'm really looking forward to seeing you again. I'll message you soon. Night. Gary x'
Lexi smiled at her phone and decided to send a response.
'The pleasure was all mine. I look forward to seeing you again too. Sweet dreams. Lexi x'
Instantly a read notification came up on the screen and she felt her pulse race again. He had read her message within seconds, like he had been waiting for the response.
Putting her phone on the bedside table she settled into bed and fell fast asleep.
