Justice

As I wake up I realized Aph wasn't next to me. Then I hear the shower going but then I realized that today Gene and Ivan were going on trial. I pull the covers off my body and make my way to the closet. I grab some nice clothes and place them on the bed, as I place my shirt on the bed Aph walks out in a purple, flowing, short dress. I stare in awe. "Wow that looks amazing on you."
She blushes, "Thank you, now we have about an hour and a half before we have to leave."
I snap back to reality, "I'm going to jump into the shower." I get up, grab my clothes, and then I kiss her on the forehead before I close the bathroom door. I take off my shirt and look into the mirror. I have no muscles. The years I worked for that body now ruined because of the last 3 months. I stare at this body of mine and didn't realize my eyes turned red. I then felt tears rolling down my face. I turn the shower on quickly so Aph doesn't hear me crying. I take the rest of my clothes off and step into the shower. "Why does she stay?" I think about that through my whole shower.

I start driving with Aph in the passenger seat. I still feel uncomfortable driving with her in the car. I don't want anything to happen again. She turns the radio on to break the awkward silence between us.
"TRY NOT TO HOLD ME DOWN." She starts singing. I sit there smiling like an idiot. "Awe come on Aaron sing with me."
I look at her for a second then back at the road, " No thanks, you know singing isn't my thing."
"Don't make me turn on your favorite song."
I didn't budge, "nope," and I swear to Irene this woman knows me so well, she grabbed her phone and turned off the radio and start to play the song. My weakness.
"YO, I'LL TELL YOU WHAT I WANT WHAT I REALLY, REALLY WANT!" Aph sings
I can't hold it in anymore, "SO TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT WHAT YOU REALLY, REALLY WANT." I reply. She had the biggest smile on her face, one I haven't seen in awhile.

I pull into the parking lot which was almost full, it took awhile to actually find a spot to park but after awhile I finally found one. I then get out of the car as Aph does the same. We met in the front of the car and I hold her hand as we walk into the courthouse. She is holding my hand tighter than normal.

"Guilty" the judge says, "Your all dismissed" they take Gene and Ivan out of the room first before everyone else leaves.
I get up with Aphmau's hand still in mine we walks outside as we make it into the grass and she hugs me. I hug back immediately. "Peace... for... once"
I then kiss her forehead, and smile. Peace.
