Here Again

"Aphmau, no!" Thump.

    I wake up in the hospital with a throbbing head. What the heck happened? I prop myself up with my elbows and the throbbing gets worse.
    I throw my legs over the side of the bed and rub my temples with my index fingers when the nurse comes in, "Oh you need to lay back down you're not supposed to stand." I give her a very confused look because I still don't know what's going on.
    "Why am I here? Where's Aaron? Please tell me what's going on, I just want to get out of here." I sigh and get back into my bed.
    "He's in the waiting room, would you like me to go get him for you? He can tell you what happened." I nod and she leaves the room, and about a minute later, she comes back with Aaron.
    Oh my god Aphmau I was so worried." He hobbles up to me using the wall and bed as support and hugs me, and I hug him back, but I still haven't got a clue what happened.
    "What happened? Why am I here? Are you okay? Where is your wheelchair?" I look at him with wide eyes, hoping he's alright.
    He laughs, "Aphmau I'm fine. I wasn't the one who fell off the ladder backwards and got knocked out cold." He sits on the side of my bed and grabs my hand. "I was so worried so I called 911 as fast as I could. They say you have another concussion and you sprained your wrist." No wonder my wrist hurt so bad.
    I groaned and laid back down onto my pillow, sending a wave of pain through my head. "Why why why why whyyyyyyyyyy."
    "I never should have let you do it yourself." He looked down to the floor. He blames himself for what happened.
    "But I could do it myself!" I defend myself even though it probably won't make a difference. "I'm not a kid you know."
    "Well obviously you couldn't, because here we are, in the hospital, because you're a potato and couldn't do it." He smiles warmly. "But I'm glad your okay."
    "Oh shut up, I'm not a potato. Never have been, never will be. But i still love you, you know. Always have, always will."
