Why me?

~~~1 week later~~~
I sit there, staring at the photo I hold in my hands, gripping it tightly with a mixture of anger and sadness. The picture was one I never thought I would find, but here it was, between my fingers, the slightly sticky surface stuck against my thumb, and the smooth back rubbing up against my index finger.
It was Aaron, with another girl. The date was pasted at the bottom, it was taken three days ago. He's cheating on me at this very moment. Right then, he walks through the door directly in front of where I sit at the kitchen table. He instantly knows something is wrong as I don't greet him, but instead stare him dead in the eye with an indifferent expression.
"Um, hello? Is something wrong?" He sets his phone down on the table by the door, and comes closer to the kitchen table.
"I think you know very well what is going on, Aaron. Why did you lie to me?" Tears sprung into my eyes, never expecting to have to do this. "Was I not enough? You just had to, I caused too much trouble."
"Aph- I have no idea what you're talking about, what's that picture?" He furrowed his eyebrows.
I bite my bottom lip as I slowly turn it around and watch his face as his eyes widened. Bastard. "Oh no, this is bad. This-"
"Get out." I throw the picture at him and look down at the table. "I'm sorry for causing you so much trouble, you can leave. I'll put your stuff out on the porch and you can come get it tomorrow, I'm tired right now, and I need to sleep."
"Aph, do you seriously think that was me?" He raises his voice, getting angry.
"Well it sure as hell looks like it! ''I said get out!" I get up, getting ready to push him out the door.
"I can't believe you think this is me! I would never do something like this! Aphmau, I love you!" He comes closer, but I put my hand out in front of me to stop him.
"Okay, so you're telling me this picture is one, fake, or two, someone else that looks exactly like you? And someone mails it to me? I don't think this is a coincidence, Aaron. I don't want this to be true just as much as you do, but face it, It was only a matter of time before you wanted someone that didn't cause as much trouble. Get. Out. Now. Or I'm calling the police." I said it slowly, so he hears me for the third time.
"Fine, I will." And with that, he grabs his phone from the table, grabs a jacket off the coat rack, and walks out the door, disappearing into the dark night.
I sit back in the cair at the table as tears stream down my face and get the dark wood wet as they splash in tiny puddles. I don't know what to do, but there's one person that I can always talk to. I pick up my phone and punch in my mom's number.
It rings for a moment or two and picks up. "Aphmau! I haven't heard from you in a while, how's everything going?" Her voice is cheerful, I wish Icould say the same thing as I speak into the phone.
"Mom Aaron left." I sniff as the tears continue to fall, getting my phone screen a bit wet pressed up against the side of my face.
"Oh no, I'm so sorry, do you want me to come over? We can watch Netflix all night." My mother sounded genuinely concerned, so I gave in even though I was really tired.
"Yes, I would like that. I might fall asleep but oh well, I just really need you right now." I sniff and grab a tissue to blow my nose and wipe my eyes.
"Okay I'm coming over now, I'll be there in ten minutes."
