"AARON GET UP!"
I look at her tiredly, "Why? I'm still tired and it's only 6:45."
"My mom called and invited us over for breakfast at 7:25 ish."
I look at her than back at the bed, "Fine fine, I'll get up but I'm not doing my hair." I sit up and dangle my feet over the edge of the bed.
"Well you'll look adorable anyways," she smiles at me before placing a kiss on my forehead. I turn the tables and pulled her onto my lap, and she wraps her legs around my waist, I think out of habit. "Aaron we don't have time for this,"
"Please just one kiss?" She kissed me but only a quick peck and climbed off of me. Sigh I get up and head to the shower as she heads downstairs.

We pull up to Sylvanna and Eric's house. Our whole intent was to tell them we're engaged. I know Sylvanna reaction fully because I remember when I ask her for her permission like a year ago before the whole crash thing happened, that's why it was going to be special night that night. I was going to take her to the park and ask her because we had been dating for a while and I've known her for awhile. But shit happens and I feel even closer now than I did before so it's better even better now than before.
"Aaron?"
"Huh?" She pulls me out of my thoughts, "oh sorry I was thinking."
"Come on! thinking can wait, Food is awaiting us!"I laugh at her statement but also get out of the car. She walks up to the door and knocks on it.
Just like on command the door open to reveal Eric, "Why hello you two, here for breakfast?"
"Yes! I'm so ready I miss my mama's cooking."
"Well she is inside talking to Katelyn actually."
"KATELYN?!?" Aph looks at me then runs inside to greet Katelyn.
"Well she's excited, isn't she Aaron?"
I laugh a little, "We have been busy and haven't had time to hang out with friends. Especially me work has been kicking my ass."
"I feel you, but come in it's chilly out." I take his offer and walk inside. I know their house a little bit but not well. She I just follow the sound the laughs and talking to the kitchen. To my surprise there was Travis sitting next to an open seat which I believe where Katelyn was sitting. Travis waved at me and pat the other seat next to him. I smile and sit down next to him.
"Hey Aaron is been awhile," Travis scratched his head.
"Yeah it has been, we've been sorta busy."
"Same here, but let's not into work." He laughed, "we're here for food." Aphmau said as she came and sat next to me.
Sylvanna yells, "FOOD WILL BE READY IN A MINUTE, JUST HOLD ON!"
I move my hand to Aphmau's thigh and she moves her left hand to mine. She held it, I could tell she was nervous, her hand was really sweaty. Also her ring sorta was digging into my hand. Sylvanna then walks out with blueberry pancakes stacked on top of one another. She placed them on the table then sat down.
"Eat up everyone!"
Aphmau let go of my hand and grabbed two pancakes, one for me, one for her. But she did it quickly to not show off the ring.
After everyone was settled and got their food Aphmau grabbed my hand again, and smiled. "Everyone! Aaron and I have to tell you all something."
You should have Sylvanna face, "Hija you not pregnant are? Aaron I swear if you." She started to get mad.
"Momma no I'm not pregnant, We're..." she let go of my hand to show the ring, "ENGAGED!"
Sylvanna dropped her fork and started crying, "Hija! Congratulations!" Aphmau was smiling the widest smile she has done in a while. "Oh come here Aaron." Sylvanna stands up and puts her arms out for a hug. I walked over to her and hug her.
She whispered to me, "I am so happy for you guys, I know you wanted to do it earlier but it's a good time now."
I nod my head slowly, trying not to cry. She lets go of me and smiles.
I am proud to say I'm going to be marrying the love of my life, my world, my happiness. And I'm thrilled.
