I sit on my computer, trying to find outfits and cakes and all that other good wedding stuff. I scan the internet, looking for the right dress. I find a really good one that didn't use a significant part of my bank account. Only $4,000. I sit back, happy to get rid of the stress to find a dress I like and one I think Aaron would like. He told me not to worry about it, but I told him I would buy an amazing one no matter the price.
Next was the cake. This wasn't as hard, but I still had to consider many choices. I make a normal search, "wedding cakes" I see a shit load of wedding cakes pop up on my screen, but one stands out. "Custom wedding cake" $400. I save the search but continue to look for different cakes.
Eventually I gave up looking after hunching over my computer for more than an hour. This is definitely harder than the dress. None of these cakes appeal to me for some reason. This leaves me with one choice: the custom wedding cake. I bring up the search, and read the details.

There. Both the cake and the dress have been ordered. I sigh and lean back in my seat for the last time today, just as Aaron walks in the door.
"Oh hi!" I smile innocently and close all the tabs on my computer. He walks into the room so I stand up to greet him. He pulls me into a hug and kisses my forehead.
"You look exhausted. How long have you been on that computer?" He looks down at me with concerned eyes. I was exhausted. I could feel the tiredness in my arms from doing so much scrolling
"Three hours." I lied.
"For real?" He knew me so well.
I hesitated for a moment, "Six."
"Seriously? Why on earth would you be on there that long?" He looked at my hands in his, as if scolding me like a child. It made me laugh. "Why are you laughing?" A smile brakes out on his face.
I couldn't stop at this point, I swear I'm high. "You- you sound like my mom when I was still in school; 'You don't need to be on your stupid online games all day mijah, It'll rot your brain!' I can see it now!" I did the best imitation of my mom.
He laughs. "Hey, do you want to go out tonight?"
That sounds nice. "Yeah sure, where did you have in mind?"-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
"This is not what I was expecting!" I shouted over the loud music of the club, Aaron pulling me behind him as we weaved through the thick crowd. It was so loud! It was dark, and all I could hear was laughing people, slurred speech, and the occasional group of shouts signaling someone fell on the floor and spilled their drink all over themselves.
We finally pull our way to the bar and order a few drinks, and luckily two people just got up and left, leaving two empty bar stools. "So," I take a sip of my drink, swallowing and feeling the alcohol leave a burning sensation trailing down my throat. "What on earth gave you this idea?" I look towards him, and he's smiling.
"We haven't gone out and gotstonedin forever so I thought why not. Plus, you look like you need something to hype you up."
"I'm already pretty hyped already."
"Well don't go crazy with the drinks."
He looks at me with a look that isn't normal for him. I was already drunk what fun. Hopefully this isn't what our wedding is going to be like me, just on the dance floor doing the worm drunk. God I would totally do something like that.
