Happy Birthday Potato

I wake up and see it's still dark out. I almost go back to sleep but then I remembered that today was Aphmau's birthday and I want her to have a special day. I look at the time. 6:40 am she will probably sleep for another 1 or 2 so I got time to make her breakfast. I carefully wiggle, and twist out of her grip and quietly walked downstairs. I make my way to the kitchen, I start the eggs first, over medium for her. I grab a pan out from the cabinet and place it on the stove. I grab two eggs, a heart metal cookie cutter, and butter. I turn the stove on and place the butter in the pan. When I hear the butter sizzle, I place the cookie cutter in the pan and crack one of the egg into the middle of the cookie cutter. I let it cook, and repeat the process one move time. Then, I grab the bread loaf, grab 2 pieces of the loaf, and put them in the toaster. As the bread is toasting I place the two eggs on a plate. I grab some purple-colored sprinkles, the toast pops up, I butter it and place some sprinkles on it. I then position everything on the plate.
I carefully take the plate upstairs and place it on the side table. I open the curtain to reveal the sun and then Aphmau moves to other side to not have the sun in her face. I walk over to her and kiss her. Oh, now she wakes up. "Good Morning birthday girl."
She smiles at me, "Good morning."
"Guess what."
"Huh? What?"
I hand her the plate, " I made you breakfast."
"Awe Aaron your so sweet, " she takes a bite of the egg, " Just the way I like them."
"Good, now I leave you to eat your breakfast." I start for the door.
"Where do you think your going?"
"Downstairs?"
She does her cute little puppy eye face, "No don't go come cuddle me."
I look at cute puppy face and give in. I lay back down where was I originally but just closer to her. She happily eats her breakfast and maybe feeds me a few pieces of egg. After she finished her last bit of egg she places the plate on the side table and cuddles up to me. I wrap my arms around her waist and pull her closer.
"Your so warm.", I laugh, "Why are you laughing?" I look up at her.
"because your being adorable." I think she's blushing.
She's trying to change the subject, "Got anything planned for tonight?" I nod, "Oooo what?"
I boop her nose," I can't tell you but what I can tell you is that you have to be ready by 5:30"
"Alright." She cuddles into my chest more.

         I am in the downstairs bathroom fixing my hair wear decent clothes you could say it's not a tuxedo. I finish fixing my hair and go to the couch and put my nice shoes on. As I finish with the last shoe Aphmau walks downstairs. I look over at her, "Wow," I am just drooling over her. She blushes when she sees me drooling. I notice I'm staring, I blush, and stop looking at her. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to stare."
"It's okay," I get up and wrap my arms around her waist and kiss her.
"Let's go," I hold her hand, we walk out the door, I lock the door, and get Aphmau in the car and then myself.

I pull into the parking lot of the restaurant I made a reservation for.
"Wow Aaron this is Wow" she was star struck. We head inside and get seated."This menu looks amazing."
"Can I start you off with any wine or champagne?"
I look at Aphmau then back at the waiter,"Two glasses of White wine and two glasses of water please."
"I will get your drinks" the waiter walks off.
"Aaron I can't."
"You can, and you will, come on it your birthday have a glass it won't hurt babe."
"You know what I will."
I smile at her,"I got you a gift," I then hand her the red rectangle box with a gold bow that I got her three weeks ago.
"Aaron, you didn't have to get me anything," She undoes the bow and her eyes light up," A-aron it's beautiful." She takes the gold necklace, that is two interlocking hearts on it, out of the box and admires it, " Aaron can you put it on me?"
"Of course," I get up, take the necklace, and place it on her neck.

I pull into the driveway.
"That's was such a good dinner."
"I know right now one last surprise."
"What I already got a present, I don't need another one."
"It's not a present silly it is a activity."
She blushes thinking it was sex I personally don't think she ready and I don't wanna hurt her but I think it's better than sex. "I don't know if I'm ready for this surprise."
I smile,"oh you are," I laugh, "I'm going to go get it ready while you go get your pjs on Okay?
"Okay," She looks nervous as she gets out of the car and goes inside as I follow her. I go to the living room as she walks upstairs. I quickly grabs all the blankets I could find and placed them on the couch. I quickly change into the Pjs I brought downstairs earlier and then I sit on the couch as Aph comes downstairs confused. "Okay so what's this surprise?"
"I wanna BULID A BLANKET FORT WITH YOU!?!?!" I smile.
She looks relieved, "I'd love that,"she smiles as she grabs the chairs and moves them into the living room. I start placing the blankets on the chairs.
Some time later we finished placing the blankets over the chairs. Aph grabbed some pillows and a movie. She put the movie in. As I lay in the fort she comes next to me. I pull her closer. Then I kiss her forehead. She smiles at me. "It's nice to see you smile like that it's been awhile."
"I know but your the one making me so happy, I just wanted to thank you for everything you did for me today."
"Well your special to me, very special and I'd do anything for you." She cuddles into my chest. We lay there watching the movie as I'm cuddling her, which was the best part of the day. We both fall asleep holding each other a feeling I have missed for a while.
