Chapter 53

(Hella time skip y'all, it's not summer anymore it's like early December)

Jefferson's POV

   Alexander Hamilton. That stupid, bastard orphan always fucks shit up. He does nothing but show off and make everyone love him.
   "Hey, Thomas!" A voice pierced my thoughts and I ripped my eyes away from my phone screen. "Jesus, what's with the demon eyes?" James asked innocently.
   "Nothing." I grumbled, James frowned and sat next to me on the bed.
   "Hamilton?"
   "This prick is asking someone to bring him to task, someone get me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him. I'll pulled the trigger on him someone load the gun and cock it." James watched me with content as I ranted, when I finished he smiled.
   "Maybe you should silence him." James shrugged. "Shit, I gotta a class starting soon. Alex should be in the library studying if you wanna talk to him and sort this out!" James dashed out the door and slammed it. Maybe I'll teach this prick a lesson. I got up and dressed. I collected my things and locked the door behind me. I saw no one as I headed to the library and I hoped Alexander's pet wasn't there to save him. Laurens had racked up a notorious reputation for getting in and winning fights. No one knew why but he decimated every opponent he face. Like little Charlie Lee. Charles had come into class bitching about Laurens and how Alex shouldn't have intervened. Everyone on campus knew Charles couldn't back his talk so we brushed it off.
   I pushed open the library doors and saw Alex nose deep in a book, looking up only to scribble notes. I looked around and saw no sign of that freckled puppy Alex kept with him. I approached Alex slowly and leaned down so I was next to his ear.
   "Come with me and don't resist, orphan." Alex slowly closed his book and gathered his things. He rose from his seat and I pushed him out of the library, toward the indoor pool. Once at the pool Alex resisted a little more, he pulled out his phone and before I realized what he was doing he sent a text. I grabbed his phone and tossed it aside.
   "Thomas what are we doing here?" He looked at the pool uneasily.
   "That's Jefferson to you and I tired of your shit!"
   "Pardon?" He ripped his eyes from the pool to meet my eyes, I towered over him and he drew himself up to look taller.
   "Before you arrived I was the top student at King's College." I took a step forward. "Now I'm second best-" another step. "and that's not ok." Another step. "Washington-" another step. "keeps calling me into his office and lecturing me-" another step. "on how I have to get my shit together." Another step, we were now at the edge of the deep end, 9 feet. "This will no longer stand, orphan." In one swift motion I pushed him backwards into the water.
