Chapter 34
Alex's POV

    John blocked the door and I took the opportunity to slip his sweater over my head. I didn't need anyone asking about my scars. I stood and wrapped my arms around John's waist, letting him know I was good. John spun around in my arms and pecked me on the forehead. I smiled and let go. He turned around and I followed him out the door. We piled into my car and cranked the radio. John did something on his phone.
     "Alex." He sounded really worried. "There's an 80% chance of thunderstorms." My breath hitched. "I'll text Herc and tell him the dorms all his, I'll stay with you tonight."
    "John, you don't have to. I can deal with this on my own. I have since I was 17." I muttered. I was 19 at the moment and I really didn't want to deal with it alone.
   "Yes I do. I don't know what I'd do if I left you alone, babe." I stiffened when I heard him call me babe. Babe! Yes! "Oh, shit. Sorry, it's ok if your not ready for that yet." He muttered, turning to look out the window.
   "It's fine, John." I reached over and put a hand on his thigh. He put his hand over mine and I twisted my wrist so we were holding hands.
   On the way home John insisted on driving. I sat in the passenger seat staring out the window.
   I turned the key and swung the door open. I moved aside letting John in, he walked into the room and plopped down on Laf's bed.
   "What are you doing." I asked, trudging into the room.
   "Getting ready to go to sleep." He muttered, slipping off my jeans. "Where-" I pointed at the laundry basket it the corner. He rolled them into a ball and chucked it into the basket. He slipped a pair of shorts on and changed into a t-shirt.
   "Do you want me to sleep with you?" I turned red and nodded. He sauntered over and fell backwards into my bed. Do it, you know you want to. John lay with his arms covering his face. DO IT!!! I tip toed over and slid onto John.
