Soonhoon

AN: Something weird I wrote a year ago

"If you keep staring at Jihoon I will eat all your food," Seungkwan threatened to Soonyoung, who was staring longingly at a certain boy. Soonyoung gave a dreamy sigh, then picked up his fork and proceeded to feed himself a nice fork full of air, promptly stabbing himself in the lip. To calm down, Seungkwan took a deep breath, Seokmin gaped, and Mingyu slapped an open palm to his face. "Why do I hang out with you idiots?" The tall boy questioned. Seokmin threw him a grin, "Because you love us." Seungkwan clapped his hands together. "On the topic of love, Soonyoung, when are you going to propose to Jihoon. You're practically blowing him with your eyes." The youngest picked at his food as he spoke as if the topic was more interesting than his beloved lunch. Flustered, Soonyoung averted his gaze from Jihoon's table. "You like him don't you?" Mingyu asked. Soonyoung sank behind the tabletop and nodded. Seokmin banged the table with his palms.

"I KNEW IT! SO THEN FUCK!"

"SHUT UP SEOKMIN!" the three other boys chorused.

Seungkwan then smirked. "If you like him, then that's simple. We get him to fall heels over head in love with you."

"I'm pretty sure it's head over heels-"

"DON'T MOCK MY ENGLISH"

"So, " Seungkwan began, 'The key to making someone fall in love with you is to use their favourite things to your disadvantage."

"Seungkwan, it's 'to your advantage'."

"Whatever," The younger huffed, 'The point is, use something you guys have in common, and maybe you'll get close, and then you'll fall in love-"

"But Jihoon doesn't like anything."

"Anything? Books? Animals? Poetry? Art? Planting? Music-"

"Music! He loves music! He goes to the music room literally every day."

Seungkwan smiled proudly. "And there you have it. A common interest." He paused. "Uh, you do like music right?"

"I can sing!"

"Well, then..."

The ivory keys were smooth and cold under his touch, a little out of tune and old, but Jihoon loved it. The piano was a wonderful instrument, and Jihoon enjoyed every second he had access to the school's only piano. He played and played, so absorbed in his song that he failed to notice the boy peeking through the window.

Soonyoung will admit: he had an overly-creepy, strong and strange obsession with a certain boy named Lee Jihoon. It's just...He was so small, and cute, and...Jihoon came to the school's music room at 2 pm every day after all the classes ended. And Soonyoung would sneak to the music room and just lean against the door and let the sweet sounds fill his ears. Every day, Jihoom played a new song, and whether or not he was an expert to the song or just learning the piece, Soonyoung still loved the music. Today, Jihoon was playing a song Soonyoung recognised, and he couldn't help but sing along softly. Suddenly, the music stopped, startling Soonyoung, but before he could sprint away the door swung open. And there, standing with utmost fury on his face, was Lee Jihoon. "Were you listening there the whole time? I-" Before he could finish, Soonyoung blurted out, "You play well. "Jihoon momentarily forgot his anger and blushed, "Um, thanks, but-" Soonyoung promptly freaked out (most probably at his cuteness) and choked out," MY CAT NEEDS ME!" And he rushed off.

He left Jihoon standing there confused and then muttered, "He's creepy." He pondered for a while, before adding, "In a kinda cute way."

And at that moment, something, was it-love? Bloomed in Jihoon's heart, a little crush, you could call it, towards Kwon Sooyoung.
