AN: inspired by this love story I read online
Seoksoo
There was nothing that Seokmin loved more than riding his motorcycle, other than his boyfriend, Jisoo. He loved how free he felt, how he felt like he was on top of the world. He loved how on empty highways, he could speed all the way, shouting like a maniac, whooping with joy, and there would be no one to stop him. He loved the feel of the worn motorcycle handles, when he rode he could feel the heart of the vehicle.
Jisoo adored riding the motorcycle as much as Seokmin did. Jisoo would always beg the younger to take him out for a ride. And Seokmin would always oblige.
On one fateful night, Jisoo once again requested to take the motorcycle for a spin, and Seokmin couldn't say no. They got on, Jisoo's arms wrapped around Seokmin's torso as he snuggled against Seokmin's back, ignoring Seokmin's helmet rubbing against his own head. There were no spare helmets and Seokmin was always too lazy to go buy one more. As the motorcycle engine roared to life, Jisoo's gun spread wide as they took the same route on the same lonely highway. Wind whistled in Jisoo's ears, rustling his hair when he noticed that the bike was gradually going faster. The speed climbed higher than the speed limit.
"Hey, Seokmin,"Jisoo spoke, hoping Seokmin could hear him through the helmet. "Hm?" Seokmin hummed. "We're going too fast, let's slow down." "It's fun like this!"
For a beat, Seokmin was silent.
"Jisoo, do you love me?"
Jisoo was shocked and confused, but managed to stutter out a tiny "Yes".
Seokmin murmured something softly, but the breeze carried it to Jisoo's ears. "I will always love you. So can you please take off my helmet. Put it on tightly, yeah? There's no other space to put it."
Carefully, Jisoo snapped it off then onto his own head. He saw Seokmin smile, small and sad. "Love you, Soo."
After they crashed, the rescuers found them, Jisoo barely conscious, Seokmin's limp hand curling around Jisoo's.
