Soonwoo

Dating a writer was wonderful yet terrible at the same time.

A writer is filled with words, to compliment you, to serenade you, to cheer you up.

A writer would know the symptoms of different emotions; of course, they would, they write about that.

A writer is a storyteller, he or she would tell you tales of worlds, both human and non, tell you myths and facts, fiction and reality.

And a good writer would know to never give up on good things.

Unfortunately, dating a writer has many downsides.

For example, should the writer write about murder mysteries, the writer would know a hundred ways to kill you with a fork.

Which could seriously affect your dating life.

And a writer would constantly be swarmed with work, so you may feel neglected at times. And by that I mean most of the time.

Wonwoo and Soonyoung had been dating for roughly two years, they live together, eat together, sleep together, basically a very happy couple with a healthy relationship. And also a happy and healthy dog.

Wonwoo is a writer, and he knows how to use the word 'Fastidious.' Soonyoung cannot spell the word enthusiasm, but that's for another story. (Besides, he doesn't have to. He's filled with too much of it.) So you can see that their personalities are polar opposites, and they are very very different. But opposites attract I suppose. But of course, like most writers, Wonwoo was very busy. He would work all the way until midnight, insisting that he cannot break his train of thought. Soonyoung was usually quite understanding, but there was one time Soonyoung lost it.

It was the lunar new year, people were celebrating. Soonyoung had imagined clubbing with Wonwoo and the gang, partying like a drunk animal and hopefully getting home safely with Wonwoo in tow. But instead, Soonyoung was stuck at home, staring at the ceiling while Wonwoo typed leisurely on his laptop. The younger offered Soonyoung his cup of hot chocolate, but Soonoung slapped it away with an angry scowl. (With Soonyoung, he looked like a pouty hamster)

"Baby, I'm bored," Soonyoung whined, muffled through a pillow he burrowed under grumpily. Wonwoo sighed. "I'm sorry, but I gotta send this in in three weeks."

Soonyoung shot out of his pile of blankets and pillows like a cannonball.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME? THREE WEEKS?"

"Soonyoung, calm down," Wonwoo said blankly. The older huffed like an upset dog, curling into a ball, letting the angry voices in his mind rage on.

Soonyoung couldn't take it anymore. He yanked Wonwoo's chair back, the other giving a strangled squawk like a chicken then lost his balance, and slammed down the lid on Wonwoo's laptop, snatching it before running away like the idiot he was. Wonwoo stumbled up.

"Get back here you little shit! Give that back to me!"

"Make me, book head!"

They ran around in circles around the sofa, their little dog Chan looking at them eagerly, wanting to join their fun. So if a neighbour happened to look out their window, they would see a very interesting scene of two boys chasing each other with a dog tailing them, barking excitedly. Soon, the duo got tired and collapsed onto the sofa. The room was filled with their tired pants and happy smiles. Soonyoung released the laptop and Wonwoo gingerly set it down on the coffee table.

"Thank you. Words can't express-"

"How much you love me?"

Wonwoo smiled, and continued, "-how much I want to hit you with a chair. Get out, you motherf-"

Soonyoung was up and running out of the door.
