Spotlights made black dots dance in Soonyoung's eyes but with electricity shooting through his veins, Soonyoung waved his arms madly at the crowd. Speakers throbbed as he yelled through the microphone. Sweat trickled down his neck, a gleaming sheen coating his body. His palms were tight around his microphone stand and he sang another melodious verse while his fans shouted along with him. The audience roared, cheering and shouting, for him. He, Kwon Soonyoung, worldwide sensation due to his dance machine-like performances and his heartfelt songs. People loved him. Who wouldn't? He was charming, hot and sweet, known for his generous donations to the needy and monthly charity work. He was hard-working and talented, and people just flocked towards him in crowds. After a long concert, Soonyoung wanted nothing more than to get back home and shower then have a fitful night's sleep. He bid his fans good night and good bye as the time crept later, and the lights extinguished with a dramatic bang. As the audience dispersed, Soonyoung studied the emptying stadium before disappearing into the backstage. Trudging down the corridors backstage, he thanked every crew member he met gratefully. He received multiple pats on the back praising for his good work, and he beamed humbly, his eyes turning to crescent moons. Once he was dropped outside his house, he was intrigued to find a figure lurking at the street opposite his home, dressed in dark colours with a hood shielding his face. Soonyoung shrugged the idea of a stalker off, his key already slotted into the keyhole of the front gate when the figure began to approach him. Startled, Soonyoung turned and spoke, "I'm sorry sir, but I am not free to sign any autographs or any-" The man forcefully yanked down his hood, and Soonyoung was shocked to see a familiar face. "Hey Soonyoung," Lee Jihoon, Soonyoung's ex boyfriend from when he was still a trainee, spat out viciously, "How are you doing? Hope you are loving how much fame you get from using my songs." Soonyoung was stiff with shock. "You know, I'm really, really trying to let go. Let go of how you stole my song book, abandoned me like a piece of garbage and used my songs, my music, to get you this far. But I just want you to remember who got you here, who made you so famous with your songs, who gave you so much and received absolutely nothing but a cold shoulder." Jihoon vented out with much venom. He huffed and finished, "Enjoy your time, you fame. I will be watching you from afar." The younger started to walk away but Soonyoung managed to shake off his shock. "Jihoon!" The said man stopped. "I...I still love you, you know. If...if you ever want, I'll be waiting...for you." Jihoon scoffed and turned around, "Even if every other person in the world rejected me or broke my heart, I'll never go back to you." Jihoon vanished down the street so fast he left Soonyoung standing alone in the empty walkway, and suddenly he wondered if the air was always this cold.
