Casey's P.O.V.

It had been almost four years since I ended up in Asgard. Since having eaten one of Idunn's apples, I became ageless. It saddened me that I would end up outliving my best friends and family. My telekinetic abilities increased even more, and I didn't have to worry about nosebleeds. Freyja had been a guiding light, helping me adjust to Asgardian culture, a task that was not without its challenges. Despite her help, I still held on to some of my Earth or Midgardian mannerisms.

The majority of the Aesir mistook me for Sigyn, even though she had been dead for some time. A few started calling me that when they couldn't remember my name. However, some folks got my name right. It was better than being referred to by a title.

It was no surprise when I realized Loki was ruling Asgard under the disguise of Odin. It made me wonder what had happened to the actual king. The trickster himself had me not say a word since the majority of the Aesir thought he was dead.

I still missed my friends and family. I could sense they were trying to figure out what had become of me. I had been trying to find a way to contact them for a while. No one in Asgard had even heard of phones or unlimited data! Sometimes, I've noticed two ravens lingering and perched wherever I went. It made me wonder if they were Hugin and Munin, the two messenger ravens from Norse legends.

Whenever Thor made an appearance from his time back on Earth, Loki would hide me, though I made many attempts to get his attention. Even when I did, my fellow Avenger didn't hear me or note my presence. Again, Loki made sure of that!

Knowing the only exit out of Asgard was the Bifrost, I couldn't leave the realm without Loki sensing my whereabouts. If I'm away for an extended time, he'd appear at my location.

I looked out over the same balcony from the day I found myself whisked away from Earth. I contemplated using the Bifrost to send a message to my friends and remaining relatives, letting them know that I was still alive and well. It had been too long since I last talked with them, and they deserved answers.

A green flash appeared behind me. I didn't bother to turn around, knowing who it was.

"Tell me what troubles you, love," Loki stated as he started to massage my shoulders.

His touch was like a refreshing cold breeze during a hot summer day. I nearly forgot about what I was concerned about.

"My friends and my family," I replied. "It's been nearly four years, and they need to know that I'm okay."

"They are only mortals. They may have gone on with their lives," Loki pointed out.

"I'm sure they're wondering where I am right now while trying to move on. They're the kind of people who never forget anybody. And they never forgot about me."

When it came to Peyton, Sean, Vince, Nicole, and Melanie, as well as Brett, Gunner, Austin, Ellie, and Sylvia, they never gave up, even when it all seemed pointless.

"There is also that bothersome mortal who believes he has control of you," Loki added, referring to Craig. "I only made sure that you were out of his reach and he wouldn't be able to find you."

Part of me was relieved that I didn't have to deal with my ex-boyfriend for long. If I saw Craig again, he might have taken my clear message to heart, moved on with his life, and found himself a new girlfriend who truly understood him. If he didn't, he would need therapeutic help.

On the other hand, the other Avengers would have tried to find out my whereabouts, thinking I was still back on Earth. I could only hope Peyton and the others found some form of clues that would clarify that I was off-world as a forever guest in another realm.
