"We are REALLY far from the group, you know.", Elsa said as she tried to keep up with the other two. "I know where I'm going........... I think.....", Diana mused. "Once I read a story about a family who was planning on going to Washington for a vacation. They ended up in a countryside after following their GPS...", Lyon said, glancing at Diana from the corner of eyes who was fuming.
Elsa laughed when suddenly Diana came to an abrupt halt. The other two crashed into her and Lyon exclaimed, "What in the blazes was that for?" Diana didnt say anything. She had her eyes closed......like she was feeling for something.
The redhead took a few steps back while the others watched in confusion. Obviously not finding what she wanted, Diana took two steps forward and suddenly a smile erupted on her face. "Its awfully warm right in this spot." Elsa raised her eyebrow and jumped on to the particular spot.
"I dont feel anything."
"Exactly!"
Realisation crossed Lyon and Elsa's faces as the stared at their amused friend. "Morwena said I will feel an unnatural heat when I reach the book.", she chattered happily.
"Yeah, but where is it? This is just a musty corridor.", Lyon stated.
He was right. They were standing in a long passage way in the Great Pyramid with walls on two sides and a dead end a bit way off. Diana rubbed her chin with her index finger and slowly started to move towards the walls on the sides. "Hmmm......no..........little but.....no...", she started mumbling while the other two watched with no interest. Suddenly she plopped on the sandy floor cross legged and put her cheek to the ground.
"What are you doing?", Elsa asked, bewildered. Diana knocked on the ground and instead of hearing the sound of age old bricks and rock, they heard wood. Hollow wood.
"What in the blazes.......", Lyon trailed as Elsa too crouched down and knocked on the floor. "Its underground."
"Yup!", Diana said, "A lot of heat is coming from the ground. "So we dig?", Elsa asked, getting up and dusting her clothes. Diana shrugged. "If we dig, the whole structure might come down since we are on the ground floor. Tue only way is to enter through the catacombs underground and find this spot."
"We cant follow Diana around because in another 15 minutes, we have to get back. But, from there we proceed to the catacombs that are open to us. We could slip away from the group.", Elsa suggested. "Yeah but it will take time for me to find it again.", Diana said. Lyon smirked and put in, "So we need a marker."
He gazed at his right palm and a faint purple glow erupted from it. Lying on his hand was an abnormally long dagger with an edge so sharp that just be looking at it, you will feel uneasy.
"What kind of a knife?", Diana asked. "A ceremonial dagger. Used for funerals in Ancient Greece.", Lyon informed them. He clasped it tightly in his hand and struck the floor with it. After a few tries, the blade pierced the ground and then easily slipped through since it was hollow.
"Nice job!", Elsa complimented and Lyon smiled triumphantly. "Come on! Let's get going.", Diana said and the three ran back to the tour group, which they found easily because of the guide's loud voice.

"Right on time!", Matt exclaimed as the teenagers ran to the group. "Not surprised. Diana said she can't wait to see the dungeons. Obviously she'll be on time.", Kaitlyn said, smiling softly.
