Shivers ran down Diana's spine as all of them turned to find the source of the eerie voice.
Desperately, they hoped it wasn't whom they thought it would be.
Luck had other plans.
Out of the shadows, stepping out on bones, clad in blue and black armor with a sword at his waist was Alrazo.
His hood was unveiled, revealing a gaunt grey face. He had glowing blue eyes that stood out in his face and a cold sneer plastered on his lips. White hair lay tousled on his head.
At his heel, in his black spiked cuff and chains was the 'larger-than-average' demon dog, Heivis.
"Why, hello there! ", the sorcerer greeted, bones crunching under his iron soles. "Thought it's be over so quickly. I have a bone to pick with you.", he continued, drowning as he remembered the scalding burn he had received from the light of the Book.
"What's in it for us? ", Elsa retorted, "You have plenty of them at your feet."
Alrazo's eyes flashed for a moment but then he gave a dark chuckle. He turned his head slightly to look at the petit dragon hovering in the air. "Aedus! Where have you been all this while? ", he asked mockingly, knowing the answer to his question very well.
"Away with the fake greetings. ", Aedus replied. "What have you come here for? " "To relay some information as well as finish an unfinished job. ", he replied. "What would that be? ", Lyon asked, his hand already poised to summon a sword. "Simply this. ", Alrazo started, "There is a time shift when you pass through the barrier. Four hours, I believe it was, when you jumped? "
When he was answered with nods, he continued, "Well, now only half an hour left. And I'm here to delay you and if possible, kill you."
Almost immediately, Heivis barked and lunged at Elsa who was nearest. Elsa, who was still recovering, was too late. But, not Lyon. He quickly summoned his silver dagger and immediately flung it, hitting Heivis right in left eye. The dog howled in pain and fell to the floor, just a meter away from Elsa. "Thanks. ", she breathed.
"What is it with you all hurting my dog? ", Alrazo asked in frustration. He pulled out his sword and charged towards them. Diana had other plans. Immediately, she whipped up a potion and flung it on the rocky floor and instantly, a green goo erupted. Alrazo fell right into it. When he was distracted, Elsa lifted the rocks off the ground and hurled them towards her opponent. But Alrazo's feet were the only things stuck.
He swung his sword, slicing through the rocks but one got through and hit him in the face.
Even though damage was caused, the impact made him fly off the goo, setting him free. Enraged, he sliced his sword through the air two to three times. Blue boomerangs appeared and dashed towards them. Elsa immediately responded by controlling wind to push back the boomerangs, striking Alrazo in the torso.
He gave a shout of pain and staggered back. By that time, Heivis recovered. He was slow after being blinded in one eye but still very lethal. He lunged at Diana screaming, "I haven't forgotten what you had done to me last time." Diana gave a shout and suddenly, light in the shape of a spear shot out towards the dog, stunning and knocking him over.
"It happened again. ", she said in surprise. Aedus stared at her in surprise and then said... screamed, "Concentrate on the light, Diana! Imagine spears, swords, shields, anything. You can practically do what Alrazo does. "
