After ordering a cappuccino, Tessa pulled up a chair and observed the others curiously. Her best friend eating cheesecake swiftly, a sign that she was scared. A red head coolly sipping hot chocolate but her eyes darting between everyone. A dark haired guy with a punk haircut and a grunge look plating with the ice in his cup.

"So?", she asked. "Umm.......... we three, well....", Elsa paused, not quite sure of what to say. "We aren't entirely humans.", Lyon said, placing his cup down. "Wow, nice one.", Diana complimented, sarcastically of course. "Guys, please, not again.", Elsa begged.

Tessa cleared her throat, successfully gaining their attention. "Sorry.", Diana mumbled and Lyon smirked at her embarrassed state. Diana blew up like a volcano and lunged at him when suddenly both of them flew back onto their seats by a gust of wind. Tessa's mouth fell open as she looked at Elsa who was furious. "You both are lucky no one saw that.", she snapped, "We can't talk about it here. Follow me." Saying so, she grabbed her bag and stormed out of Starbucks. The others, thrown aback by her outburst, quietly followed.

The three of them followed Elsa to Pier's Park. She leaned against the metal fence and said, "Sorry for the whole wind thing. I was tired of you two fighting." "Dont sweat it.", Lyon said, smiling. "It was our fault and we're sorry." Elsa smiled at him.

Tessa and Diana awed, bringing both of them back to reality and turning their faces red. Tessa grinned and then suddenly, her expression changed to curiosity. "Elsa, what was it with the 'whole wind thing'?", she asked. Elsa sighed and said, "Lyon's right. We aren't exactly humans."

"What you saw was just a fraction of my ability. We three are.....incarnations of lost legends. Not of this world."

Tessa's eyes widened each passing minute as Elsa, Diana and Lyon took turns in explaining everything. They didn't miss out a single detail. Tessa's mouth fell open when she heard about them almost dying in Egypt.

"Okay, so let me get this straight.", she said after they finished. "All three of you are incarnations of the Trinity of an another planet, Bearmuth-"

"Beremuth."

"Whatever. Elsa controls the four elements-"

"Five."

"Got that. Diana can whip up any kind of antidote and Lyon can summon weapons. You three are set out to find some book of guardians, which will lead you to a portal to Beremuth, and it happens to be in Cuba. Then you have to defeat the sorcerer named Tracea-

"Traccia."

"Traccia. Did I get it right?"

Tessa looked back and forth between the three who quietly nodded. She straightened her back and uttered one word. "Wow!"

The three looked up and grinned. "So, you're going to keep it a secret?", Diana asked curiously. Tessa nodded. "Cross my heart and hope to die. But what is my role in this?"

Diana, Tessa and Lyon looked at Elsa who was wringing her hands. "Well Tessa, your dad, he still runs the shipping company, doesn't he?" Tessa's eyes widened, guessing what she was going to say. "No way! Are you serious?!", she asked, bewilderedly. Elsa softly nodded.

"Wait! I dont understand. What are we doing again?", Lyon asked. "If I'm right," Tessa explained, "Elsa wants to sneak into one of my dad's ships which hail to Cuba and get down there. Isn't it Elsa?"

"You would be a great detective.", Elsa murmured. Diana threw her hands into the air. "Are you out of your mind?! Luggage's are a way safer means of transport than a huge SHIP! Do you know how hard it is to sneak into one? They are always guarded. Every corridor."

"We could use your invisibility potion.", Elsa protested. Lyon interjected, "Elsa, this is too dangerous. We could get hurt! YOU could get hurt!" Diana paused and raised her eyebrow at Lyon when he said the last line. Realising what he had said, a light pink blanket fell across his cheeks. All three except Elsa noticed his words but they didnt dwell long on it.

"Elsa, it is impossible!", Tessa said. Elsa shook her head. "Nothing is impossible. We thought magic and aliens never existed but now? Me, Diana and Lyon are the living proof! Why can't we sneak onto a goddamned ship, go to Cuba and get the book from an underwater city???!"

"Underwater city? What underwater city?", Tessa asked. They hadn't told her about that. Diana slowly explained to her, "Under the ocean in the Pinar del Rìo province is a Cuban underwater city which scientists discovered through sonar. The coordinates we found on the flag sheet pointed to that area."

"BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN!!???", Tessa exclaimed, startling the others. "Are you all mad? We need a.......a...submarine to go that deep!" "We know and we'll get it but first we need to get to Cuba and we need you to come.", Elsa told them.

"Hold on! TESSA is coming with us?!", Lyon asked. Elsa nodded, "Of course its her call but the only person who can get us even IN to the shipping yard is her. How many times have you been to Cuba, Tessa?"

"Countless.", she replied, "My mother has Cuban heritage so we go there often." "See?", Elsa indicated, "She knows the place like the back of her hand. Tessa is the only one who can lead us to what we need."

Everyone fell into deep thought. Every path they thought of taking risked their lives and secrets. Tessa was the first one to speak up. "I'll come wherever you want me to come and I'll follow you. But I am not entirely sure of the whole ship thing."

Elsa squinted at the four 'o' clock sun and said, "You have any other ideas?" The others looked at each other and Diana voiced their thoughts. "No."

"Exactly."

They stood in silence, their minds whirring. That was when Lyon spoke up. "Maybe we should try it." Elsa smiled graciously at him. He suddenly felt all warm and squishy inside as he smiled back.

"I agree.", Tessa said and was agreed to be Diana. "All righty then.", Elsa said, clasping her hands, "Tomorrow. Tessa's house at ten in the morning. How does that sound?"

All of them nodded. Tessa had to leave immediately because of her father's innumerable missed calls. Diana soon followed suit, not wanting to miss her mother's evening scones. Soon it was just Lyon and Elsa strolling down the pier.

"So...."

"So...."

Both of them laughed. Their conversation always seemed to start like that. Once their laughter ceased, Lyon turned his head to look at Elsa and asked, "How does it feel? When you control the elements?" "The word I am looking for? Fascinating. You feel the surge of energy through your fingertips and boom! Your hands is on fire."

Lyon smiled and looked up. "I lost my father when I was seven. My mom and I were in midst of debts and I had to drop out of high school. It was hard, especially when you had knives shooting out of your hand at random times.", he added, chuckling.

Elsa gazed up at the tall boy sympathetically and said, "Being the reason for my family's death didnt console me a bit. For the first time, I felt alone with no one there for me. This was before a month. Now look at me finding the reason for my weird powers and found awesome friends. That's when I realised that even when you lose something or someone, it is just an opening. An opening for other individuals to enter your life and be with you till the end."

Lyon mustered up his courage and slowly took her hand in his.

"Till the end."
