A few bubbles came out as the door finally opened. It was pitch dark inside. "We have to be careful.", Lyon warned. "This thing could come down on top of us any second."
Elsa carefully shrunk the bubble so that it fit through the door. "Its really close. I am practically sweating.", Diana stated, pulling at the neck of her suit. "Where to now, Di?", Elsa asked.
Diana closed her eyes and then opened them, saying, "Up."
Lyon raised his eyebrow. "Up?" Elsa guided the bubble forward and then managed to create a flame. Although it quickly extinguished because she was already manipulating water, they had enough time to see a cavern above their heads by the fire light.
"Oh, THAT up!", Lyon mused. Elsa, trying her best to avoid touching the walls, slowly made the bubble ascend. They could see nothing.
Suddenly, Diana exclaimed. "There! That light! Its there!" She pointed right, looking wild. But Elsa and Lyon's faces were filled with confusion.
"What light?"
Diana looked at them bewilderedly. "What do you mean 'what light'? There!", she repeated, pointing to pitch darkness.
Lyon suddenly snapped his fingers and stated, "It is what Morwena said. The book is of light energy. Diana has a connection to that energy. That's why she is seeing a light."
Elsa turned to Diana and said, "How far?" "A metre or so, up.", came the reply. They slowly ascended and by Diana's command, stopped.
Diana made Elsa bring the bubble closer to the light. Once they were really close, Diana peered at it. A ledge seemed to be built into the wall. On it, was a worn out bag, from which the light came.
Diana held her hand up to it and suddenly the light flickered wildly. "Woah!", she exclaimed, surprising the others. She let her hand touch the bag and suddenly the light seemed to be sucked into her hand.
"Is that a bag?", Elsa asked from behind. "Can you see it now?", Diana questioned. Both of them nodded. Diana carefully picked it up. With a grin, she turned to the waiting two and said, "It's heavy."
Carefully, she opened the bag and put her hand inside it. The others closed in, eager to see what was inside.
Out she drew a large, leather bound book with a depression in the centre. Elsa placed her hand on her mouth, stifling her cries of happiness. Lyon laughed, running his hands through his wet hair. Never has a sight bought him this joy.
Diana looked up at Elsa and Lyon and said, "Let's move!"
Elsa slowly guided the bubble outside. Just as they reached the door, they heard a crack sound. "Uh oh."
All three looked up to see a chunk of rock hurtling towards them. Elsa swiftly moved the bubble out, knowing that if it fell on them, the bubble will pop. But, they were a milli second late.
The rock had brushed against the fragile bubble.
The bubble popped.
They didnt have their oxygen masks on.
The pressure at which the bubble burst pulled them apart. Elsa crashed into the wall and fainted, oxygen leaving her lungs fast. Diana and Lyon tried to get to her with whatever oxygen they had left.
The pressure was too high. Their oxygen tanks bent and got crushed. Diana fainted from the squeezing at her sides, the bag flying from her hand. Lyon too fell down, struggling to keep his eyes open.
He saw the book slide out of the bag. Lyon felt the urge to breathe. He glanced at Elsa and Diana who had very little oxygen left. All of their tanks were crushed and their bodies were at the verge of breaking.
With all the strength he had left, he pulled out the medallion and pressed it into the depression in the book.
The last thing he saw was a bright, blinding light.

Tessa glances at her watch. They were taking too long. It had been an hour and quarter since the three left and Tessa was getting scared. She scanned the sea with her binoculars but caught sight of nothing.
"Tessa!!"
The girl jumped in surprise. That voice. "No, how is it even possible?", Tessa calmed herself. That voice sounded so much like her father.
"Tessa!!", it came again, now louder. Tessa started getting restless. What's going on? She turned and heard her name again, now very loud and very real.
"Oh no!"
She scrambled to get everything packed and ready to run when three Cuban police came and along were four other men. Seeing two of them, she felt her heart come up to her throat.
----------------------------------
Grey eyes fluttered open to meet a pale blue sky. Elsa sat up abruptly breathing deeply. The day's events came rushing back to her.
She looked around and examined her surroundings. She was on the beach next to the Cape. She spotted Diana and Lyon lying a few paces away and next to them lay the book with the medallion inserted in it.
Elsa went to pick it up as the others slowly awakened. The pages were soaking wet but none of them were destroyed nor torn.
"How are we here?", Diana, who had now awoken along with Lyon asked. "The book.", Lyon answered. "It glowed when I inserted the medallion in it."
Elsa fingered the spine of the book and then said, " Let's get back. Tessa must be worried sick."
They turned to walk back, only to stop in their tracks. Their throats went dry and their minds weak as they saw seven men walk towards them with Tessa in the middle. She had a frightened look on her face.
Her eyes pleaded mercy. She was extremely scared as Elsa could see her bottom lip quivering with fright. She couldn't imagine how they were going to explain everything.
What scared the three of them more was the sight of the men walking on either side of Tessa.
With a concerned yet angry expression on their faces were Matthew Samuel George and Arnold J. Kewrell.
