"Never thought I would see the GREAT Trinity sprawled on the floor like helpless children."
The dust and smoke clear to reveal a hooded figure walking towards them. Instinctively, the elders as well as the teenagers moved back against the wall.
The stranger's appearance became clearer. Wrapped in a blue- grey cloak stood a man, his torso wrapped with leather belts. Held together in places by strange-looking clasps, his cloak was riddled with queer symbols and lines.
From underneath the hood, a few strands of white hair could be seen as well as glowing blue eyes and a teasing smirk.
"Really now!", he taunted in his mysterious voice. "You musnt shy away!"
Kaitlyn swallowed her saliva and screamed at the top of her voice. "HELP!" The invader's head snapped towards her in amusement. With a chuckle he said, "Quiet, woman. No one can hear. The wonders of magic are yet to be explored."
As he said those words, a blue smoke formed around his fist. His eeire blue eyes scanned the mortals in front of him and stopped in front of three certain teenagers.
"You even look like the old ones!", he exclaimed in surprise, gazing at Elsa, Diana and Lyon.
The three of them were frozen, not knowing what to do. The stranger smirked at their astonished faces and said, "So young. Its a pity that I have to kill you."
His words took the others by surprise. He looked at the elders and Tessa and rubbed his chin. "I dont have any use of you." And with a wave of his hand, the blue mist formed a barrier, enclosing Tessa and the scared-beyond-wits elders.
"What are you doing?", Lyon shouted, finding his courage. The man turned to him in surprise. "Well well! They talk. Oh, forgive me! I haven't introduced myself!"
With a slight bow, he placed his hand on his chest and said, "Alrazo Mulchein. The huntsman of Lord Traccia." Alrazo grinned when the teenagers' expressions turned to pure fright at his master's name. "And meet my partner, Heivis."
From underneath his cloak came a large dog. Its pointed ears were pierced by large studs. A chain of spikes was his collar and symbols were burned into its body. "Finally we meet!", it growled, much to everyone's surprise.
"It talks.", Diana whispered. Alrazo chuckled. "Earthlings are so weird." "Aren't you of Earth?", Brenda asked from behind the barrier. Alrazo did not answer. All he said was, "Ask your children."
Elsa slowly pulled herself to her feet, cautious of Heivis and his master. "W....what do you want?"
Alrazo frowned. "Haven't I made myself clear? I will kill all three of you and then take the Book of Guardians to my Lord." Diana, regaining her spunk, retorted, "Yeah, good luck of that."
Alrazo laughed and said, "Thank you. Now let's get back to business." His expression turned from a happy one to an 'I will kill you now' one.
Clasping his gloved hands together, Alrazo shot a beam of blue magic at them. The helpless ones behind the barriers screamed. Heivis snorted in a canine way as Alrazo prepared himself to see three dead bodies.
His eyes went wide as he saw a large stone wall between him the teenagers. Elsa, out of stimuli, automatically put up a barrier, deflecting the attack.
Alrazo growled in anger. "Seems like you all have picked up some tricks." Jumping into the air, he brought his hands up from the sides, and forming a gun- like gesture, he shot blue crystal shards at them. Elsa once again raised her barrier but it shattered at contact with the shards.
