—Summary!—

Mabel had been born and raised in a quite large family in Avonlea. Due to her family's business in maple syrup, she was quite wealthy. She got close with some of the girls in her town, though she couldn't stand Josie Pye's attitude.
When Anne showed up, Mabel felt an instant connection with her. The pair became close rather quickly, and Mabel was over at Anne's house nearly every day.
Anne invited her to a party that Diana's aunt was having. The party was filled with different people. Good people, but different nonetheless.
This party is where she realized something. Something that she may have always known, just never acknowledged.
She began to develope feelings for her friend, Anne. She didn't know how to get her feelings out. So, she poured her heart out in letters, confident that they would never find their way to her. Oh, how wrong she was.
