Place: Miri's Room, Emberfrost
Castle
Date : Nollaig 3, 1617 3:30pmMiri stood up. " I gotta get out of this dress" she tugged at the waist.
"I can help you with that " West stood up and winked at Miri. He headed towards her.
She gave him a what did you just say look. Stopping in front of her with his hands up and open.
"I mean that as a perfect gentleman" West chuckled slyly.
Miri tilted her head slightly as to say oh really.
"That dress of yours has a ton of hooks and buttons in the back, just like Mom's. Dad or I usually help her with it when the attending ladies aren't there. You know I'm always I gentleman with you Princesa". He explained. The kindness in his smile she knew he was.
"Very true" Miri smiled and turned her back to him lifting her long locks of silky chocolate hair.
West stood there and smiled the biggest smile at the sight.
"A few of them stick," she told him.
Snapping out of it West replied "I got this" He started unbuttoning the dress.
Very gently he undid the top button and then the snaps. They were so tiny compared to his large fingers. He took his time not only so he could savor the moment, he thought with a smirk, but he didn't want to damage the dainty blue fabric of the dress. Or accidentally pinch Miri.
She was as soft and delicate as the silk. However, at 6'4 and 195 lbs, most things seemed delicate to West.
"Is everything alright back there?" Miri asked looking over her shoulder with a grin.
"Si Princesa I'm just enjoying the view" he smiled coyly.
"Haha what Bercelo you never saw buttons before?" Miri giggled.
"No not like these, these are very special buttons indeed." He gave her a playful look over her shoulder she saw in the mirror.
"Haha," she laughed.
Then West hit a snag, literally, a loose button came off as he freed it.
"Oops here we lost one" he handed it to her.
"It's ok, I can sew it back on later" she put the button in a pocket of the dress.
With just a few snaps left at the waist, they started to stick. He gave them a tug pulling Miri back towards him a little. " Sorry, these things aren't wanting to cooperate" He continued struggling.
"I told you they were stubborn" she balanced herself.
Snap Snap! "Finally, there you go, my dear, you are free" West was both pleased and displeased by this.
"Not quite," Miri said remembering her corset. "If you wouldn't mind could you loosen the snaps and the top few laces. I want out of this itchy thingy". She turned again and pointed at the strings.
"It will be my pleasure princess." West had never spoken truer words. He smiled and went to work.
Carefully he untied the bow that held the laces and undid the ivory snaps. Then loosened the ribbon from its first few laces. "All done I think. That was so much easier than last time" he said thinking of the difficulty of the dress. "Wait let me get this one it's knotted" he grabbed the laces.
"WEST MALONE MAXIMILIAN CASTILLO AUGUSTIN BERCELO GET YOUR HANDS OFF MY NIECE!!!" a voice shouted from behind.
Immediately West held his hands up like a criminal ready for arrest and Miri turned sharply on heels towards the voice and froze in shock.
