"She's on the first floor, talking to the sage at the desk." Miri used her light sensory skill.

"You mean the one we froze." West giggled.

"Yeah, I don't think she has noticed he isn't, well an active participant." She grinned at him.

"La Rata, for a nosy nit she doesn't really pay much attention to what's going on." The fairy nodded in agreement.

West took the books and scrolls and put them in his lap as he scooted closer to Miri. "So, how do we get out of here. She will sense your teleport." He asked.

"I have an idea, we let her catch us." Miri winked.

"Princesa I don't know if that's such a good.." the prince started.

"Trust me." She took his hand and grinned. That smile, how could he say no.

Miri teleported them to her room, her couch to be precise. "Drop the scrolls Westie."

He complied standing up and opening his arms.

They all fell on the cushions.

She grabbed his hand and returned them to the second-floor banister of the library. They saw Ailey looking around for the teleporter she had sensed.

"Guards, guards we have a teleport emergency in the sages library," she screeched. She stood by the windows yelling to the guards "Up here."

Miri teleported them behind Ailey and tapped her shoulder asking "What's up here?"

The startled fairy jump.

"Miri, oh sweet fairy mother you scared me. And it's not a what but a who someone just teleported here three times from what I can sense." She told them.

"What La Rata can you sniff them out like a bloodhound?" The prince scoffed as he looked at his fingernails.

"How dare you throw insults at me, you pampered egotist." She snapped back.

"Well, that accelerated quickly." Miri thought.

"Oh please that wasn't insulting you La Rata," he grinned.

"Oh really," she glared.

"Yeah, but it was an insult to bloodhounds comparing them to you." He leaned on the pillar by the window. "I should watch what I say, those noble beasts deserve my respect."

He smirked at her and rage filled her eyes. At that moment the guards rushed in with weapons drawn.

"Your ladyship, were you the one who called us?" they looked at Miri who shook her head no.

"No that was me." Ailey butted in. "I sensed three teleports on the second floor and one here close to me" she reported.

"For fae's sake." West shook his head with disgust. "You mean like when mi Princesa teleported us behind you like two minutes ago." He looked at Ailey with pure disbelief at her stupidity and shook his head.

"Miri that was you?" The confused fairy asked her. The guards waited for an explanation.

"Yes we were upstairs, looking for elder Telfrin, but he wasn't in his office. We heard a commotion so I teleported us to stairs and saw you yelling, then teleported to you to help". She smiled at Ailey.
