West and Miri arrived at the throne hall. It looked spectacular. The large tapestries that lined the walls depicted beautiful seasonal themes. Each was over sixteen feet long and embellished with metallic threads. There were scenes of snowflakes, Yule trees, Father Winter and yule logs.

The smell of cinnamon and caramel filled the air. Fireplaces were glowing and added a fresh pine scent to the room. Snowflakes hung from the ceiling and sparkled as the dangled from pine bows. Even the chandeliers were festively attired. It was such a beautiful sight like something out of a fairytale.

Miri wore a long silk azure dress and matching cloak. West picked it out to match his tie and his family's crest on his uniform. He gave her his pin to clasp her cloak so they coordinated perfectly. It was a golden bear with a crown standing in front of the Elvenguard flag. The words "Siempre Cierto" were inscribed across it and 2 large sapphires graced the sides. The symbol of the house of Bercelo.

He was such a drama queen she thought with a laugh. It took him two hours to pick out what "they" were gonna wear.

"What has you smiling so Mi Princesa," West questioned her with a smile of his own. "I like it, you don't smile much lately. Even though you are in the company of the most handsome crown prince in all of Elvenguard," he winked.

Miri giggled "Uh Westie aren't you the only..."

He interrupted her putting his finger to his lips. "Sssshhh, doesn't matter if there were a hundred. Either way still the most handsome."

They laughed as they walk arm and arm towards the king.

"Your Majesty," she curtsied before her king.

"King Brogan," the elven prince bowed slightly.

"Thank you both for helping me today. These meet and greets last for ages. A little break in between is nice." The king grinned as he leaped from his throne.

"West it's all yours, I know you have assisted your father with this task many times." He patted the prince on the back. "Now off to lunch with my lovely bride." The king chuckled as he seemingly skipped off to meet his queen.

Miri was amused watching him. As she turned back to West she saw he had already made himself comfortable. Lounging on Brogan's throne, he fluffed the back cushions and wiggle to a comfortable position.

"I think this one is more comfy than ours. The cushions are softer." He informed her. "Remind me to check on that." The prince asked as he continued to arrange the cushions. The king's councilor cleared his throat.

"Your highness the next dignitary is here" he informed West. "Thank you MacWinter please send them in." The counselor nodded.

"Princesa quick sit in the queen's throne and do what I do." He stood and guided her to the throne beside him.

She set as proper and tall. West looked over at Miri thinking how much she looked like a queen. If only she had a crown he thought. Which reminded him to straighten his own.

"Presenting the King of Aziland, leader of the majestic Aziza, His Royal Highness King Amadi Emen, and his daughter Princess Delu Emen." The page announced.

A well dressed man approached. He was tall and slender with dark mocha skin, a bald head, short tidy beard, and small gold rimmed glasses.

Beside him was a girl of equal height and rich skin tone. She had beautiful long dark hair which hung loose in small tight curls all around her face. Wearing a delicate golden dress that was filled out with her round curves, (and matched perfectly with her rainbow colored fairy wings) the girl matched her father's pace.
