"There you go. How does that feel, is everything better now" Miri asked looking up at West bright blue eyes. She forgets how tall he is sometimes.

"Si, muy Bueno" he smiled down at her.

"Then here. You will be needing this so you don't catch a chill and your death of cold " she tossed his shirt at him with a grin as she went to get the long-forgotten treats left on the table by the door.

West chuckled putting his shirt and vest back on. "Aye but senorita I thought you were enjoying the view, all the lady's do." he winked and plopped down on the sofa placing his feet up on the end arm of it by the fireplace.

"Hahahaha oh but it's your modesty the ladies fall mi Príncipe Guapo" she smiled leaning over the back of the couch.

He beamed at being called a handsome prince.

"Here take some." Miri reached out the napkin to share with him.

"Are these what I think they are" his face lit up as he eyed the spice cookies.

With a nod of her head and a big smile he knew they were indeed. Taking a few and some of the cheddar biscuits, he started to eat. Miri set the napkin down and picked up the red tin mug of cider. With a wave of her fingers, she reheated the chilled liquid. Right away the smell of cinnamon filled the room.

Picking up the napkin and the mug she took them around the sofa. Setting everything down on the coffee table in front of the couch she swatted West feet making him sit up and make room for her.

Taking her seat next to him, she blew on the cider. "Here take a sip but be careful I think I warmed it a bit too much." She offered the steaming mug to him.

"Really princesa you should leave that to the professionals" taking the mug West touched the side and immediately the steam rising from the top of it thinned. The prince had skills rare to Elves, heat, fire, and light magic. Likely because his grandmother had been a firelight fairy.

"Remember my dear ice is your specialty. You know like that gigantic ice spear you nearly ran me through with. All cause I gave you a little hug." He slyly grinned and raised one eyebrow as he took a sip of the cider. Looking at her sideways as he did.

Miri felt a wave of pain in her stomach and bit her thumb like she always did when she felt guilty.

"Yeah sorry about that Westie I wouldn't ever hurt you on purpose," she rested her head on his left shoulder looking up at him with the sweetest look in her big grey eyes. "Can you forgive me" Miri she smiled at him.

West giggled "Mi Princesa you know I do. I can't ever stay mad at that sweet little face" he reached over and lightly pinch her cheek. "Even if you had shish-kabobed and bbqd me."

Miri laughed and looked away surprised he knew her stances that well.

"Yeah, I felt that electric charge. Remind me to never get on your bad side" he looked down at her and smiled with a nod.

"Haha, you noticed that huh," she asked looking away guilty.

"Kind of tough not to when all my hairs stood on end from the electricity." They both laughed as they leaned back on the couch Miri leaned on him.

"So what trouble are we going to get into while I'm here" he handed her the mug.

She took a sip of the cider, "We have a mystery to solve."
