Part Five
"I don't want to leave."

Jungkook fought for air powerlessly. Although he didn't want to admit it to himself, he did enjoy sex with Jimin more than he had initially thought he would. "This was," he panted, "amazing."

Jimin nodded as weak as a kitten. Yes, it was also more pleasant than he had imagined, but he still felt kind of... dirty.

Getting laid by Jungkook brought back memories he'd rather have buried. But that was what he had wanted all along, wasn't it?

Thinking of his hurtful past, his eyes filled with tears. He pursed his lips to keep himself from crying his heart out. Little by little, he felt his soul breaking all over again. Nothing would ever be able to heal his shattered self, he thought.

Jungkook didn't see this emotional side of him because he was facing Jimin's back when he stripped off the used condom and started putting his clothes back on, so that he was able to abandon the elder's apartment shortly afterwards.

"I'm leaving," Jungkook announced as he walked over to the bedroom door but stopped when he didn't hear the blond reply anything.

"Jimin?"

Again, there was a deafening silence in the relatively dark room.

"Is everything all right?," Jungkook checked up on the man he had screwed a few minutes earlier. Slightly worried, he approached the elder to discover he was on the verge of crying. "What's wrong? What happened?"

Jimin still didn't go to the bother of answering. Instead, he clung onto his blanket even more, hiding his face by pressing it into the pillow.

He didn't want Jungkook to see him this weak. Especially not after sex.

He had already heard lots of stories where they would make fun of people who got quite emotional after having had sexual intercourse with someone, and he was scared Jungkook would laugh at him because of it as well.

"Jimin, just tell me," the younger male begged with a fairly confused expression on his face. "Is it something I did? Did I hurt you or anything?"

Without a word, Jimin shook his head lightly, still not daring to look the man in the eyes.

If he didn't want to talk to the brunet, then he didn't have to. This had only been about sex after all. A one night stand. Nevertheless, Jungkook couldn't help but become kind of anxious due to the blond's demeanor. Had he been too hard on him?

Jungkook was only supposed to be doing his job, accomplishing his task. Why was he sitting next to him then, worrying if he had done him wrong?

"Jimin, please."

Once again, Jimin seemed on the very brink of losing his composure utterly, but he kept his tears to himself. "It's nothing." It had required all the power left in him to form that sentence.

"It obviously isn't nothing," Jungkook responded, slightly irritated. "Baby, just tell me. Why are you crying?"

Baby, Jimin thought. Hearing the younger male calling him by this term of endearment made him somewhat soft. Although he didn't realize it at the very moment, it was all he wanted to hear for the rest of his life.

Since Jimin apparently didn't want to say what was giving him pain, Jungkook sighed and felt kind of responsible for the older male's heartache. Reluctantly, he got under the blanket again, laid down next to the blond and put his arms around him to provide him with warmth and the feeling of not being alone in this.

Jimin was grateful.

He really was.

But he wasn't oblivious to the fact that Jungkook would rather leave than be stuck here with the human wreck that was him.

"You don't have to stay," Jimin whispered weakly. "Just go. I know this doesn't mean anything to you." It broke Jungkook's heart to see him so crushed. If it wasn't him who had brought the elder pain, who else had done this to him then? Who had left him this irrevocably shattered? Jungkook really wondered.

"I don't want to leave."

So, he stayed.
