Part Seven
"He did it."

Namjoon had been waiting for over half an hour now. He was pissed. Usually, he would make anyone who made him waste his valuable time suffer due to his impatience.

That did not apply to the man he was waiting for, though.

He was probably the only person Namjoon didn't feel superior to. They were coequal in his eyes. That probably had to do with the fact that they were pretty similar to each other. Both were troubled, smart and devilishly cunning.

Together, they could achieve anything.

And no one would be safe.

Nonetheless, he wasn't able to hide his bad mood when the raven-haired finally appeared in front of him with an umbrella. Namjoon was sure he didn't have one because of the pouring rain, but rather because the elder had something to hit him with in case he couldn't deliver any news.

"Did he take the bet?," the raven-haired wanted to know straightforwardly, not even mentioning his running late, whereupon Namjoon nodded his head yes. "And did he do it?"

The younger nodded once again. "He did it," he responded unnecessarily, pursing his lips. The answer made the other foam with rage.

"That bastard."

Namjoon was still sitting when he looked up at the elder who was about to lose his temper. He fully understood why he was so upset and he partly got why the raven-haired had mandated him to set this whole thing up in the first place.

"Is there anything else you want me to do?," Namjoon asked in a calm voice. Although he was no one's lackey and even if he hated the elder's guts at times, he would still do pretty much anything for his hyung.

They were a complicated team.

"Just keep an eye on them," the raven-haired replied before he turned around, silently walking away with his umbrella again.

The weather really matched his mood.
