Part Eight
"I can't stay away from you."

He didn't know why he was here.

It seemed as if his feet had been dragging him to the elder's apartment and there had been absolutely nothing he could've done about it.

Why on earth did he feel so drawn to the man? He just didn't understand.

The incident with the barkeeper wouldn't leave his mind, either. Never before in his life had he screamed the wrong name in bed. It was silly. He obviously had gone nuts.

"Jungkook?"

Jimin was more than surprised to see the brunet standing at his doorstep looking like a lost puppy. "What are you doing here?" He had been very sure Jungkook was the type of guy who screwed somebody and never called them back afterwards.

That was actually what Jimin had been looking for in the first place when he had gone to the club. That was why he had responded to Jungkook, too.

But now, looking up at the younger's flawless face with an expression he couldn't quite read, he wasn't so convinced anymore.

Jungkook hadn't got attached, had he?

"I just..." Jungkook shut his mouth again. He just didn't know what to say. He hadn't even planned to come here after all. "I-I don't know. I guess I only wanted to check up on you," he answered after having been silent for a while. "You haven't told me why you were crying and I'm still worried it was my fault."

The blond man in front of him looked at Jungkook as if he was completely out of his mind for being here.

What had they gotten themselves into?

"You look exhausted. Do you want to come in?," Jimin eventually asked politely, opening the door a few inches more to make the younger feel welcome. Jungkook nodded hesitatingly, taking the offer, and stepped into the elder's apartment.

Jungkook wondered whether Jimin would have invited him in if he had known about the thing that had been going on between Tae and him just a few hours after he had slept with the blond.

He probably would have.

Jimin was too kind.

His apartment really went with his personality, Jungkook reckoned. Or at least it fit the characteristics he had been able to get a line on during their first and only encounter.

It was a mixture of both plain and personalized.

Not that Jimin was plain.

His four walls were sparsely and rather modestly furnished. Apart from that, there were quite a few pictures hanging on the walls or standing around here and there in frames. Jungkook came to know Jimin loved his grandmother very dearly.

There really were two sides that lied within him; the emotionally distant, sexual man and the very kind but broken-hearted boy.

Jimin leaned onto the door frame and observed the brunet from afar.

He didn't mind that Jungkook was taking his time with taking a look around, but he was still curious about why he was even here. Did he hope for round two? Did he want to mess with his emotions? Because Jimin definitely had no time for games. He'd already had enough.
