A/N: EVERYBODY STREAM SHADOW!
Part Twenty-Two
"Don't let me down."
It brought back so many memories; standing in front of the blond male's door. His mind immediately went to their first night together. Jungkook had been waiting impatiently until Jimin had finally found his keys, both eager to continue their wild make-out session. "Hurry up a little, will you?," the younger had spoken under his breath, whereupon the other had replied, "First things first, I'm slightly drunk. Secondly, if you didn't distract me every five seconds, I'd find them, bunny."
Despite the other's amusing cockiness, Jungkook had found the sight rather cute; Jimin's trying to hide his blushing out of embarrassment because it had taken him so damn long. His small, chubby fingers hadn't been helping with his search either, the brunet guessed. But Jimin had looked so sweet, almost innocent.
After that, Jungkook thought of his own stopping by because he hadn't been able to stop thinking about the elder. Back then, he had been convinced he had only been there out of concern for Jimin and not because he had caught feelings for him. After all, Jungkook had been completely sure he could only develop feelings for women, if at all, although he was quite attracted to men as well. That's why he'd never thought of himself as bisexual. Now he knew that had been a fucking lie.
He remembered the day the blond male had brought him here to tell him about his abusive father. It had not only been the same day the two had started dating, but also the day Jungkook had realized he had become fond of Jimin.
In the following time they had gone to Jimin's apartment even more often. They had regularly come back to his place after each date to cook something or simply to cuddle on the couch, Jimin always being the big spoon in doing so.
Yes, his time with Jimin had definitely been amazing, albeit short. Never in his life had Jungkook been so happy than when he had been with the elder.
He missed him. He really did.
"Jimin, are you home?"
Only then did Jungkook start knocking, but no one would open the door for him. "Jimin-ah?," the younger called out for his ex-boyfriend once more. "Hyung?" Again, no answer.
Somehow, he still didn't believe Jimin was out since he hardly ever was. And he was right. Jimin hated going out, especially now with a broken heart in his chest. He was standing on the other side of the door while listening to the younger's soothing voice, unable to say a word, unable to process that the man he was so deeply in love with was finally here to see him.
Why was he, though?
Jungkook had obviously moved on, considering the handsome man Jimin had seen leaving his apartment about a week ago. The blond didn't necessarily think the other was dating someone else. It had probably only been a booty call, a one night stand. Nonetheless, Jimin himself couldn't have done that, not in a million years. He was too devoted to the younger because when Jimin liked someone, he did it with every fiber of his being.
Maybe Jungkook was here to rub it in his face, to show the elder what he'd been missing out on.
No, his Kookie wouldn't do that to him... Right?
