Part Thirty-Two
"Home sweet home."
Jin hadn't seen Jimin for what felt like a decade. He was surprised when the younger had called and had asked him for this favor, yes, definitely surprised, but not at all reluctant. In fact, he was really happy to meet him again."Woah, nice choice of color," he immediately complimented his friend's hair once he spotted him and gave him a tight hug. "You look like blue cotton candy!"
A light chuckle escaped Jimin's lips as his cheeks reddened with embarrassment. "Thank you, I guess."
"How was the ride?"
"It wasn't long, so it was quite endurable, but I'm still not a huge fan of trains," the blue-haired answered with a shrug. "Thank you, though, for picking us up and letting us stay with you until tomorrow."
"Oh, don't be so humble," the older male said, giving the other a solid pat on the back before he took Jimin's small suitcase and walked off without any further ado. "It's really no big deal. Besides, I've never specifically said you could sleep inside my house, you know."
After having checked that Jungkook was still somewhere behind them, Jimin followed his friend with an amused grin on his face. "I almost forgot how much of a jerk you can be when you want," he then commented on Jin's banter while reaching out for his boyfriend's hand.
"Wait, Hyung, hold on! I still haven't introduced you to-"
"Ya! Who are you?"
The eldest jumped with fright the moment he turned around for Jimin. Since he hadn't noticed the brunet man yet, it startled him when Jungkook basically ran into him due to the quick halt.
"Hyung, may I introduce you to my boyfriend," Jimin spoke up, suppressing an almost evil laugh. "Jungkook, this is Kim Seokjin." The youngest bowed respectfully.
"It's a pleasure to meet you," Jungkook said, somewhat nervous because of the formality.
Jimin hadn't told the brunet much about Jin, just that he was an old friend of his and that they had spent quite a lot of time together back when he had still lived here. All he knew for sure was that Jin was older than them and that he, those were his boyfriend's words, could get a little bitchy sometimes.
"So, I'll have to buy food for three people now?," the eldest asked incredulously, not even bothering to have a little small talk beforehand. His gaze wandered up and down Jungkook's body, his mien concentrated as if he was calculating something important. "Why do I feel like he's a big eater?"
If he hadn't before, now was the moment Jungkook understood what the blue-haired had meant by bitchy.
"Don't be mean, Jinnie," Jimin bid as he ruffled through his friend's hair. "Also, I told you I'd bring company."
"Yes, but when you spoke of 'we', I thought of a hamster or something."
"Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you but I take up a little more room than a hamster," Jungkook retorted with a raised eyebrow, whereupon Jin let out a soft chuckle.
"Yeah, I see. You're quite buff," the eldest replied before he stowed the couple's luggage in his spacious trunk and got in the driver's seat. Shortly after, the other two made themselves comfortable in the back. "Jimin, I thought you were more into... lanky guys, considering how your ex-boyfriend looked like."
