Part Twenty-Six
"Say cheese!"

For reasons unknown, Jimin hated to be in the spotlight. It simply felt weird to be the center of something, so when Jungkook had insisted on taking professional pictures of him, he had been quite reluctant. "Pretty please! I want to show off my beautiful boyfriend," the brunet had said to convince the elder. "Don't you want to celebrate your new hair colour?"

Although he really wasn't fond of the idea, the younger's begging had got Jimin weak.

So, here they were, preparing the set for the said photoshoot. Jimin was busy putting on the jewelry his boyfriend had bought with him two days ago, when Jungkook asked him to help him pick the petals off all the pink roses he had brought along earlier.

"You're so commited to this," Jimin noted as a light chuckle escaped his plump lips. "I don't think I've ever seen you this focused. Except for when you dyed my hair of course."

The brunet gave him a warm smile before reaching out his hand to caress the back of Jimin's head lovingly. "Anything for you," Jungkook responded, causing the elder to giggle once again.

"Well, to be exact, this is for you. It's not me who originally wanted this."

"You're going to look lovely," the younger promised without even reacting to Jimin's statement, watching his blue-haired boyfriend in awe. All Jungkook wished for was for the other to feel at ease. He, of course, was very well aware of the fact that Jimin wasn't a big fan of standing in front of the camera, all eyes on him while he gave his best to look handsome. Which he always did, obviously.

"Well, you most certainly give a lot of effort in making it possible," Jimin replied, leaning into Jungkook's touch, eyes fluttering shut. "Do you think it will be weird for you to take pictures of me?"

The brunet furrowed his brows, trying to follow Jimin's train of thoughts. "No, why? Do you think it'll be weird for you?"

He shrugged. "I mean, yeah, of course a little. I'm not used to become the focus of attention after all," the blue-haired answered before tugging at the last rose petal. "But what I meant was that you normally work with objects or landscapes, don't you? So I figured this could be a bit unfamiliar."

Jungkook pursed his lips, reflecting on his boyfriend's words.

He wasn't wrong.

This was the very first time the brunet would have a photoshoot like this, which was recognizably different in a way. But Jungkook couldn't say he didn't like it. It definitely was a lot more interesting and obviously more interactive than taking shots of the sky or so since Jimin was a living, breathing and moving person.

"Hm, I haven't even thought about it until now, to be completely honest with you."

"Probably due to euphoria over the idea of seeing me all dressed up for your eyes only," the elder spoke with a smirk playing around his lips, noticing himself that he became more confident around Jungkook with every minute passing by. For a brief moment, the thought of going further with his boyfriend suddenly didn't seem so scary anymore.

Maybe they could pull this off.

Maybe they could actually have a normal relationship after all, Jimin thought. With everything that appertained to it.
