Jong Kook wakes up by the queasy feeling in his stomach.

He hastily runs towards the bathroom when he feels like puking.

He bends in front of the sink just in time for his insides to push the digested back up to his throat.

He retches and pukes for a couple of minutes before his stomach calms down, leaving him catching his sour breath and his eyes in tears.

It is when Ji Hyo comes inside, rubbing her eyes sleepily as she draws near him.

"Are you alright?" she asks, her voice hoarse from sleep.

He closes the toilet bowl lid and sits over it, his throat sore from puking.

"I feel bad. My gut feels like it's been wrenched."

"Why? What did you eat last night?" she asks, leaning against the lavatory.

He stares at her.

Her hair is all over the place, and her face is puffy, her eyes not even fully opened. Her PJ's are crumpled and her feet bare.

But she looks totally fine.

A sneaking suspicion starts to grow in his mind, but he is using his logical thoughts not to believe it.

Maybe he just ate something bad.

"I don't know. But don't worry. I'll be fine." He assures her, standing up and placing a hand over Ji Hyo's shoulder as he leads her back to the bed.

He glances at the bedside clock as he pulls the covers over Ji Hyo who goes back to bed. It is five in the morning.

He should be preparing for work. But watching Ji Hyo bury herself back into the fluffy covers of their bed just makes him follow her into it, hugging her from behind and pressing his face against her back.

It is the most comfortable place in the world. Being next to her. And he doesn't want to ever let go of her.

He is awaken again by the sound of the doorbell. But Ji Hyo's warmth is too tempting that he just tightens his arms around her and presses his face harder against her back to feel her warmth more.

She stirs in his arms and slightly rolls towards his direction.

"Someone's ringing the doorbell." she mutters sleepily.

"Let them." He answers without moving or opening his eyes. He instead fills his lungs with Ji Hyo's fragrance in a deep inhale.

"Oppa.." she complains.

So he forces himself to get up and go get the door.

He is sweeping his hair in place as he opens the door and is immediately greeted by the two women. Their mothers.

He just stands there, surprised, as the two of them hug him and pats his head affectionately and gleefully.

"Aigoo! Our son did such a great job!" His mother said, patting his butt instead.

"Eomma!" he complains and moves his behind away from his mother.

His mother-in-law, meanwhile, is giving him an acknowledging rub in the back as she smiles widely at him. "My son-in-law is the best!"

"Why? What happened? What are you doing here?" He asks them, flabbergasted at such surprising presence so early in the morning.

The two of them head to the dining table and place their grocery bags over it before looking at him over their shoulders, their smiles still present in their faces.
