The telephone is screaming when Ji Hyo arrives home.

She heads directly towards it, placing her bag on the couch on her way.

"Hello? Kim Residence, good evening." she greets as soon as she places the telephone against her ear.

"Good evening. Is this Mrs. Kim?" a male voice asks on the other line.

"Yes."

"Mrs. Kim. This is Mr. Oh."

"Oh, Mr. Oh!" she says, unexpecting it to be the old man. "Why are you calling in our landline? You have-ahh, I get it." she shifts as soon as she realizes Jong Kook isn't answering his phone still.

"I've been calling for days."

"I'm really sorry about this, Mr. Oh. Jong Kook seems to be not ready to talk to anyone right now."

"I know. I know. I'm giving him time to rest. But Ji Hyo-ah. Maybe he hasn't told you this yet, but I already scheduled him the seminars, the trainings of becoming Perseus' CEO. And he has to fly next week."

"Really?" she asks, surprised at what she heard. "Where will he be going?"

"Paris."

Dread starts to spread all over her chest. "F-for how long?" she asks.

"Three months."

She is speechless, her mood going even worse at the news.

She will be alone for three months?

How will she be able to sleep at night with the empty space beside her?

And how will she be able to make sure he's safe in a country halfway around the world?

Mr. Oh must have felt her uneasiness on the other line, because he speaks again after receiving no response.

"I'm sorry, Ji Hyo-ah. I know this will be hard for the both of you, but I can't really trust Perseus to anyone else." the old man explains, sincerity strongly present in his voice.

She wants to refuse it. She wants to ask Mr. Oh to let Jong Kook stay because she wants to be always there by his side, especially now that he's having a rough time.

But she know this is a once in a lifetime oppurtunity for him, and she doesn't want him to live his life regretting something that had slipped his hands.

Confusion and the mixed feelings is slowly making her even more irritable.

"I understand, Sir. I'll tell him about it." She answers as gently as she could.

"Please, Ji Hyo-ah. Help me get him back on his feet."

"I will, Mr. Oh. I will."

"Thank you. I hope you're doing great, too."

"Thank you, Mr. Oh."

"Bye."

"Bye." she answers before hanging up the phone.

That is when it sinks in.

Jong Kook is leaving for three months.

It's too long for her. Even a day feels like a month without seeing him.

She is about to head to the bedroom when something catches her eyes.

Did she really enter the right unit?

She has been busy lately that she hadn't had the opportunity to look around their place closely.

But is this really her home? Or has she entered the wrong unit?
