(Hey! This one shot is based off an AU I made up out of nowhere. I haven't entirely figured out the AU yet, so it may not make as much sense as I want it to. This is also pretty lazy so, keep that in mind)
Aizawa felt his heart pumping as he climbed over the hundreds of rocks. He clambered tiredly on top of a flat, boulder like area and looked over the ocean. The water rippled beautifully and it sparkled like holiday tinsel. He smiled softly. He perked up as a quiet tune floated through his ears. It was enchanting. He slowly moved his way down to the bay and sat on a different rock. He looked over the waters and examined every corner. A glimpse of golden blonde caught his eye. He watched as a thin figure half emerged from the water. He had beautiful glistening hair and eyes you could get lost in. Aizawa gave a small wave and the person smiled before submerging again. Aizawa sat down on the rocks, mesmerised. He could that have possibly been? Why were they in the water? He rubbed his neck and sighed before-
"HI!" Aizawa jumped back, terrified. The person was back. They propped the top half of themselves up with their arms, with the other half of them still submerged in the murky water.
"H-hey?" Aizawa choked out. This man was gorgeous. The man grinned.
"What's a guy like you doing all the way out here? Ah it's been so loooong since I've talked to someone! I'm Hizashi!" The man said. He was obviously one who liked to talk.
"Shōta Aizawa" Aizawa mumbled. The man continued to chat without any obvious pause. When he finally did stop, Aizawa piped up.
"What're you doing in the water? Aren't you going to come out? " Hizashi looked surprised.
"Oh I forgot to tell you!" He heaved himself up and sat on the rock, revealing a long, shimmering tail instead of a pair of legs.
"I'm not like you!" He grinned. Shōta felt his face heat up. He was embarrassed.
"I'm so sorry, I had no idea! Do you mind if I go into the water and join you?" He didn't go swimming often, but he felt horrible about asking the siren to join him on the rocks. Hizashi nodded.
"Oh that would be wonderful! Please! Come in come in!"

Aizawa lowered himself into the warm water. It was deeper than he thought it would be. He held on the rocks as the siren swam up beside him. Even after swimming for hours on end, he still felt entranced by this wonderful creature. He waved goodbye when it was finally time to leave and travelled back home. Each day he returned to the ocean bay to swim with the siren. He hadn't expected, though, for him to one day not be there. He waited at the rocks patiently, but the siren never showed. He circled around the bay several times, but found nothing. He looked up as a large boat sailed into the bay. He frowned as he heard a voice he recognised.
"Stop it! Let me go! I'm going to die if you leave me out here, I'm not supposed to be up here for this long!" The boat anchored down and dropped a net into the water. Hizashi untangled himself from the net and backed into the rocks as Aizawa hid himself behind some shrubbery. The men on the boat cut off the area with nets and plastic fences.
"You're a good catch, you know? It's not everyday you see a mermaid."
"First of all, if I would be a mermaid I'd be a merman. Secondly, I'm not a mermaid. I'm a siren. Believe or not, there's a difference." Hizashi huffed. He submerged himself and sat at the sand under water. Aizawa stripped down to his board shorts and slipped into the water. He held his breathe and swam down to the bottom. He put a hand on Hizashi's shoulder, giving a small wave. Aizawa swam to the surface, taking in a deep breath of air before going under. He began to tug at the fences and netting, making a small route of escape. Hizashi squeezed through as Aizawa rose to the surface. He made sure to keep his bottom half under the water.
"Is that another one? Catch it, go!" The men began instantly throwing out reels and nets trying to capture this regular human man. It was pretty easy, too. They snatched him out of the water and were filled with rage to find he was not tailed. They dropped him on the grass beside the bay and Aizawa ran off.

When he reached home, clothes under his arm, he stepped into the shower first thing. He continued his visits to the bay everyday. Hizashi never showed up. He was hurt, but he knew that it probably wasn't safe for Hizashi to be there anyways. Not after the siren-hunters. He still visited every day. It just became routine. Even if Hizashi didn't show up. Day after day, he'd venture down and swim in the bay. Month after month. One day, he sat on the rocks after a swim, and let himself dry off. It was particularly hot, so it was a good time to relax and chill out in the sun. He closed his eyes and breathed calmly. He sat up in surprise when a simple, quiet voice said
"Hey" he looked over and saw him. He was back. Aizawa jumped onto him, the two of them submerging into the water. He hugged his friend so tightly, and wouldn't let go. Hizashi swam to the surface, Aizawa still latched on and laughed. He hugged him tightly.
"Don't ever do that again, you stupid fish! I missed you!" Shōta cried. Hizashi laughed and put his hands on his friends face.
"I'm not a fish, I'm a siren."
"Whatever" Sho mumbled before hugging his friend tighter. Hizashi pulled him up into a kiss and laughed. Aizawa froze up and felt the blush creeping his face.
"Don't make me fish you out of the water, Zashi."
"I'd like to see you try"
