It was the end of the day which mean school was over and boy was I glad. Austin never said another word to me or looked my way. I was thankful that I had Lauren in class for second last period cause all the ones that are picking on me were in that class. Lauren sat next to me and everyone kept their distance. Turns out that Lauren had a great talent for art, she can draw like nothing I have ever seen before. The darkness showed in her art, but it was beautiful. Last class went okay as well even though Lauren wasn't there, but then again Austin kept his distance

I would be glad to get home and forget most of the events that happened today. I quickly stopped by my locker and getting the things I need to take home with me. I usually walk home with Demi except on a Monday which was today because she had a basketball practice after school. I rushed out of school as quick as I could, making sure no one saw me that I never wanted wanted to see me. When I stepped out, I see Lauren standing, talking to some guy and two girls. The girls seeming a little giddy around her. I chuckled to myself and rolled my eyes at them. I was going the opposite way so she wouldn't see me and I think that's a good thing. I put my earphones in and kept my head down while walking. I was heading home which will take me about twenty minutes from school. I can't drive and I hate riding buses. I need to rely on my feet which I don't mind as long as I have my earphones with me, it helps block out the test of the world. I was flicking through my playlist deciding what song I should listen to, next thing I knew I felt a pair of hands wrap around my waist, making me squeal and jump. My heart was racing because I had no idea who it was. I soon found out when the person removed one of my earphone plugs from ear.

"It's only me, calm down woman." I heard a chuckle knowing it was Lauren

I swung around to face her and glared at her. However she found my annoyance at her so hilarious, bursting out laughing when she see how pissed I was at her

"What the heck are you trying to do? Kill me? I groaned at her
"You see that could've been anyone Camz, you should always have one plug in when you're walking alone cause you don't know who can sneak up behind you." She said sternness back at her voice again
"Yeah, you're probably right." I said looking at the ground." I said looking at the ground

She reached in, lifting my chin and making me look at her. Her other hand landed on my hip, pulling me close to her. Oh there goes my heart again...racing and pounding in my chest.

"Did you miss me kitten?" She smirked
"You wish." I laughed
"Oh, but you did and you always will when I'm not around. You will even have naughty dreams about cause you will miss me that much." She said smugly
"Ewww." I said pushing her shoulder, turning and walking away from her

I was giggling to myself, but she doesn't need to see that. Lauren soon caught up with me, throwing her arm over my shoulder, pulling me close again

"You love that idea, don't act like you don't. "Can I walk you home?" She asked looking down at me
"Since when does the "bad girl" offer to walk girls home? What're you after?" I asked raising my brow at her
"Nothing. Maybe you make me soft." She laughed
"Yeah right, sure that is what it is." I giggled shaking my head, "What are you really after?" I added
"Nothing...not right now anyways." She smirked
"Should I be worried?" I asked curiously
"Time will tell won't it? Now where you stay? I need to know where I'm going." She laughed

I told her my address

"Really, that is down the street from me? Who knew uh? Why have I never seen you around?" She asked
"Dunno. I never really go out much to be honest with you." I shrugged
"Well we need to change that." She winked
