Lauren's P.O.V

*One Year Later*
"Hey Lauren, how was work?" Camila's dad as I walked inside the house
"Hard." I laughed looking around
"They are sleeping." He smiled

I nodded heading up to the bedroom. I stood at the door, smiling like an idiot. Camila and and our baby boy Adrian were sound asleep. It was hard to believe that Adrian was already three months. Thankfully when he was born, everything was okay both with Camila and Adrian. Though it has been hard work for the first six weeks because he barely slept and we couldn't get him into a routine and we were both shattered, but we got there. He was worth it though.

We were still currently living at Camila's house and we've been here for a couple of months now. Thank god I saved enough money from the construction job I was working at to get us our own place. I stood by the door watching them for a few moments, Adrian's little hand was wrapped tightly around Camila's finger. He was such a mami's boy. I slid my shoes off, quietly making my way over to the bed, and laid down next to Camila then wrapped my arm around her softly not wanting to wake either of them.

"Hm Lolo?" I heard her whisper tiredly
"Yeah Camzi it's me. Shh go back to sleep baby, I'm here if he wakes up." I whispered kissing her shoulder
"Okay, I love you." She said
"I love you too baby." I replied and pretty soon she fell back asleep

Just as she did, Adrian stirred awake and whimpered a little. I knew he was due to wake up, I stood up making my way over the other side of the bed and as I did, he opened his green eyes looking at me.

"Hi my beautiful baby boy." I cooed at him making him let out a small giggle, a giggle they always tugs at my heart

I reached down, picking him up and sat on the chair that was in the corner of the room.

"Mommy missed you." I whispered stroking his cheek

He giggled again, his little hand wrapping around my finger.

"Hope you have been easy with Mami today." I whispered
"He has been good." I heard Camila's voice whisper from the bed

I looked over seeing her watching us, a smile on her lips making me smile back at her. She patted the spot next to her. I stood up from the chair, making my way over to her, and put Adrian laying between us. He laid there kicking his little legs cooing away to himself, making us both laugh.

"How was work?" Camila asked
"It was alright. I missed you two though." I said and pouted at her
"We miss you too." She smiled reaching in and kissed me

Camila was such an amazing mom to our little boy, I think she learnt it all from her mom. The way she was with him made me fall more in love with her.

"We still going to your mom house later?" She asked
"Yes. She's excited to see us because she haven't seen us in a few days...well more excited to see Adrian obviously." I laughed
"Yes." Camila giggled

My mom was doing great, she has been clean and sober over six months now. She got back to working and she also went back to dating. I have never seen her this happy as she is right now. She had been a great help to us, they all have.

"So you gonna marry me yet?" I smirked

I knew she would say no, not out of badness or not cause she never wanted to, but because she wanted to wait until we had our own place, and finish going to college. Though that never stopped me asking her nearly everyday.

"Lolo." She laughed shaking her head
"What? I told you that I will keep asking you until you say yes to me Camzi." I winked

I was only messing with her, I knew neither of us were ready for it just right now.

"You are a pain in my ass bad girl." She giggled
"You love it baby girl, don't even lie." I smirked winking at her "well until tomorrow." I added laughing and making her giggle
"Yes I really do, you're still a pain in my ass though." She said sticking her tongue out at me before turning to attention back to Adrian
"Yes, yes she is...your mommy is a pain in the butt." She cooed at Adrian "what do you think baby, should I say yes to your mommy?" She added

Adrian giggled kicking his legs

"I think he agrees with me that his mami should marry me." I smiled
"Ask me again tomorrow and we'll see." She giggled
"I will hold you to that." I winked kissing her "I love you Camzi." I added
"And I love you too Lolo." She replied

She nodded her head before turning her attention back to Adrian, taking to him and making his go crazy...As I said, he is a mami boy. I smiled as I watched the two of them and I don't know what I done to deserve them, I really don't. I was a lucky girl and I could not wait to spend the rest of my life with her.

You asked me this time a year ago where u would be, it would not be this, but I wouldn't change a single moment of it well would change one thing... I would've asked Camila out sooner than I did, but I got there in the end.
