Camila's P.O.V

I was glad I won to be honest with you. I don't think I could've handled her kissing me. I would probably messed it up or made an idiot of myself. I really enjoyed my time hanging out with her tonight. One thing that was really getting to me was that she lied to me about what happened to her face. I know someone did this to her and I also saw that her knuckles were swollen too...telling that she has been fighting with someone, but at the end of the day it's none of my business.

"Where else do you want to go? I still have you for another hour and a half." She asked
"Don't know wherever really." I said shrugging
"Well you're useless." She laughed, wrapping her arm around my shoulder
"You are the one that said there is plenty to do here baby girl, you just ain't looking in the right places or something like that." I said mocking her
"Are you mocking me?" She said raising her brow at me "Here I am thinking that you're sweet and quiet." She said pouting
"What if I am? What are you gonna do about it bad girl?" I said confidently which is unlike me...you know since I am awkward, shy, and what not?

She stopped on the spot, making me do the same then she turned to me, a smirk on her face

"Don't make me kiss you Camz cause I will." She said a cheeky smile on her face
"Try it and I will slap you so hard that your cheek will be turning red." I sad smugly
"You sure about that?" She said inching closer to me

My mouth went dry, no words coming out at all. All I could do was nod. I see the smirk creeping up on her lips as she watched my  reaction. She reached in, pushing my hair behind my ear. I swallowed hard, pulling myself together and decided I ain't letting her get to me that easily. Not again

"You wish Ms. bad girl." I said pushing her away from me, turning around and beginning to walk away from her
"I think I liked you better when you were shy and quiet Camz...less cheeky that way." She chuckled catching up with me
"I don't know what you mean Lolo. Let's go get a milk shake." I said smiling widely

I don't what it is about Lauren, she seemed to make me feel like I can be myself around her. It makes me forget that I haven't known her for a full day

"Milkshake, Camz what are we 12?" She laughed
Shut up, my treat." I said smiling
Fine! Fine!" She groaned rolling her eyes at me making me giggle

The diner that does the milkshake was the same street as the bowling alley, which means we never had to go far. Lauren's arm fell around my shoulder again as we walked down to the diner. A comfortable silence falling between us and I found myself smiling a little

"I think we should take it to go and then walk around the town. I prefer it when it's quiet." She said
"Okay that's fine." I said smiling at her

We went inside the diner, ordering us both a chocolate milkshakes. We were chatting and laughing and I was still wondering why she was wasting her time with me when I know she can get any girl she wants. I think a part of me is worried in case she has some trick up on her sleeves or it's all a joke. I know technically that this wasn't a date, but it did kind of feel like one though

"Lauren?" I heard a voice, making us both stop
"Vero, my friend. It's been a while." Lauren replied
"Far too long. Where have you been?" Vero replied, them giving each other hugs

I'm guessing they're friends? I stood there awkwardly as they talked to each other

"Are you on a date?" Vero asked, looking at me before turning back to Lauren, raising her brow at me
"What? No! Of course not. Who do you think I am?" Lauren laughed
