Camila's P.O.V

Lauren and I were laying on top of her bed after having dinner and watching a few movies with her mom. I snuggled in closer to her, nuzzling her neck. I had become very smitten over these last few days with her, we have barely been apart since that night at the carnival. She looked down at me, the sweetest smile on her lips, making me blush. You would think by now I would have learned to control my blushing around her, but no. I swear since we started seeing each other it has become worse. She looked a little lost.

"Are you okay?" I asked moving myself, resting my head on her stomach, and linking my fingers with hers.
"Sorry. It's Normani's 18th birthday and we always said that for her 18th, we would do something crazy." She said

This is the first time she had brought her up since she went off in some of Austin's about. She still haven't told me what went on there.

"What happened with Normani? You mentioned her once, but you never said anything about her." I asked

I wasn't being nosey, I was just being curious. One thing I did know that this Normani meant something to her.

"Normani and I were best friends since we were toddlers. She was my rock through all the hell I've been through. She never thought twice about putting me in my place." She said laughing at the last part.

"Were you two together?" I asked

I wasn't sure if I should be asking these kind of questions or not.

"No never. The thought of it is wrong. She was like my sister and we were only best friends. I miss her like crazy and I hate what that son-of-a-bitch done to her. He ruined her." She said the anger in her eyes are clear to see even the thought of Austin.
"Lauren, what did he do to her?" I asked

I felt her tensed when I asked

"Sorry it's none of my business." I said deciding to leave it there.

I went to move to sit up, but she stopped me. She pulled me closer to her and looked down at me.

"No secret remember Camzi?" She smiled "it's not that I don't want to tell you, just the thought of what he's done to her makes me angry, makes me wanna kill him." She added
"He hurt her really bad didn't he?" I asked Lauren and she nodded

She took a deep breathe before telling
me what really happened between Austin and Normani.

"Austin got her the same way he got to you. He was the sweetest guy, treating her like she's the most beautiful girl in the world, telling her that he was madly in love with her. She fell madly in love with him in such short time. I never trusted him for the moment I met him, but she was already crazy about him, there was nothing else I could do. Anyway after six months, she gave him everything. He was the first relationship she had been in, he was the first guy she had sex with. After he got what he wanted, he dumped her. He even announced all over his Facebook page that he took her virginity, that he was using her, and never loved her. He done to her what he done to you in a way except luckily you never gave him everything." She said stopping to take breath

Who does that? Who post things like that on Facebook? I understand why she fell for him, he knows that's he's doing. I'm glad I never gave into him. I knew he was a horrible person, but what he done to her was 100 times worse than what he done to me...the poor girl. Why did I never hear about any of this? Then again two years ago, I never used Facebook...I just kept my head down at school.
