Lauren's P.O.V

I woke up smiling to myself when I see Camila curled up in close to me, both still completely naked from last night. I reached down stroking her hair and making sure to not wake her up because I know she'll be exhausted and sore from last night...and what a night it was. I looked down at her and sighed. I was crazy and head over heel for her, but at the same time I was terrified because she can do so much better than someone like me and I worry that guy or girl she deserves will show up and I will need to let her go. Till then I will need to just try my best and hold onto her. I reached down and placed a soft kiss on her forehead...she groaned smiling, but she didn't wake up though. I slowly slid from her hold creeping out of bed to put on some clothes and sneaked my way through the house to the balcony. I took a deep breath as the cool air hit my body. I leant on the banister looking at the view and smiling to myself. I got lost in my own thought because I was going through a list of how I am gonna screw this up...how I'm gonna lose her and I know I shouldn't be doing that, but I can't help it.

"Laur you okay?" I heard Normani's voice behind me

I shrugged not looking at her and she soon appeared to my side. I turned to face her and she sees right though me.

"Don't you dare Lauren. Don't start thinking you are gonna mess this all up and don't you dare push her away because you are scared." She said

My best friend can read me like a book.

"Trust me I am not trying to do that...be that girl." I groaned annoyed at myself
"What has got you thinking this way Laur?" She asked placing her hand over mine
"I told her that I love her last night." I said a small smile finding it's way onto my lips
"What took you so long? You have been in love with her for weeks Laur." She giggled making me relax a little
"Have not." I replied
"Yes you have. I can read you like a book Laur and you should know that by now. Why after telling her that you feel like this?" She asked
"Cause being with someone and being in love with someone is very different. I told her I love her which I really do...I took everything from her last night and now when I mess this up it's gonna hurt her even more." I replied running my hands through my hair

With that Normani turned to face me glaring at me wriggling her finger in my face with a serious look on her face.

"You ARE NOT gonna mess this up Lauren. If you keep thinking that way you will. Lauren she loves you." Normani said
"But she can better than someone like me." I sighed
"That is bullshit and you know it. Lauren, Camila chose to stick around even when you were being a jackass. She loves you and not once has she tried or asked you to change. You are scared of breaking heart, but I really think you are scared she is gonna break yours cause if you know she did it would destroy you. Well guess what? She won't. How about instead of concentrating on all that, you concentrate on her...your relationship with her. Lauren you and Camila will be fine." Normani said smiling
"Hopefully. Thank you." I said pulling her into my chest, hugging her and kissing the top of her head then pulling away after a moment

I felt a little better after talking to Normani, she always makes me feel better.

"How was last night by the way?" She smirked
"Amazing though I awoken something inside of her." I smirked chuckling
"Too much information Laur." She giggled
"Then tell me why you out here feeling sorry for yourself when your very beautiful girl in in bed herself?" Normani added then end up smirking
"Yes you have point there." I laughed and the two of us heading back inside and heading our separate ways
