Third Person's POV~

As the night drew to a close and morning came again on a warm Saturday, Jim, Toby and Claire all converged at the canals to head into Trollmarket. The sun was up and shining, not a cloud in the sky, people in their usual hustle and bustle, just another day in Arcadia Oaks.

Jim set his bike down and looked around, "Hey, where's Sonya?" he asked, peaking a brow.

Claire shrugged, "I haven't seen her since last night." She then turned to Toby, "What about you, T.P?" She asked.

Toby shrugged, "Not a clue."

Jim sighed, and pulled out the Horngazel from his book bag, "We can't wait for her." he began carving out the entrance to Trollmarket. Down the stairs they went, through the market, weaving in and out of the hustle and bustle before finally entering the Hero's Forge.

Draal was already there, he stood in the middle of the Forge. The horned troll had his head turned up to his father, Kanjigar the Courageous. Jim froze mid step, and his mouth sealed shut, his brows rose in sympathy. The teen could relate to some degree how Draal was feeling. As you know, Jim's father disappeared when he was five, and Draal's father...well, was killed by Bular.

Draal glanced over his shoulder, "Ah, Trollhunter!" He smirked, "Are you prepared for yet another day in the Hero's Forge?" He asked, his metal prosthetic creaking with each motion.

Jim smirked, "Yeah, whenever you are Draal."

But before training could even begin, Blink and Arrrgh came into the space, "One moment, if you please," Blink spoke up, "my friends, I have made a grave discovery." His tone was dead serious, "Would you all please come to my library?"

Jim peaked a brow, "What is it Blinky?" He asked as our group of heroes made their way into Blinky's library, the cozy space was filled floor to ceiling with books from all manners of ganera: Fiction, non fiction, history, horror, you name it.

Jim, Toby, Arrrgh, Claire and Draal all stood around a massive stone table in the center of Blinky's dwelling.

"What is it that is so important the Trollhunter must miss his training?" Draal asked, folding his arms over his chest.

Blink set an old book on the table, it was bound with leather straps, and with a wood cover, etchings of dogs and wolves decorated the cover.

Toby peaked a brow, "I don't get it..."

Blinky put one of his four hands on the book, "Our new ally, Ms. Wolf... I do not belive She is all that she claims to be."

Arrrgh cocked his head, "What do you mean?" He rumbled.

Claire concurred, "I mean, she is a bit of an odd ball but...."

Blinky nodded, "Just listen to my words," he opened the book, revealing depictions of Humans, some with huge fangs others with pointed ears.

"Are those...elves?" Jim asked, seeing the pointed ears.

"Loboan." Arrrgh rumbled, his eyes wide with shock.

Draal peaked a brow, "Loboan...? I have never heard of such a creature."

Blinky nodded, "You are a younger Troll, Draal. I am not surprised," he flipped the page showing a sketch-by-sketch transformation of the human into a werewolf-like creature, with crystals emerging from thier furry pelts.

"Still don't get it." Toby dead panned.

Blinky sighed and began explaining, "In the Old Wars, us Trolls did not fight the Gumm-Gumm army alone. We enlisted the assistance of the Loboans, close relatives to the werewolf but different in many ways. Vicious fighters, honorable beings." Blinky flipped another page which shadowed a huge illustration of Trolls and Loboans fighting side by side against a horde of Gumm-Gumms.

Jim stared with wide eyes, "Whoa..." he murmured, he then pointed to a Loboan who was much more impressive looking, with Snow White fur, a staff and huge rings through his ears, "Who is that?"He asked.

Blinky olaced his hand over the drawing, "Jerome, the Loboan Cheif. He fought side by side with Deya the Deliverer." Blinky continued, "When Gunmar was exiled to the Darklands the Loboans vanished back into thier mountain territory. And they have not been seen nor heard of since then."

Draal peaked a brow, "This is all very interesting but what does this have to do with the human girl, Sonya?" He asked.

Blinky flipped a page which was titled 'Identyfying the Loboan' on it were humans with fangs which were highlited, pointed ears and clawed nails. Blinky then pointed to the upper corner of the page, showing a black band with a green Wolf etched into it.

Toby squinted and looked closer, "Hey that bracelet looks just like—No way!" He gasped dramatically.

"It looks just like the one Sonya has." Claire said, she then looked to Blinky, "Blinky could this mean...?"

The six-eyed troll nodded, "Her skill in combat, violent nature...and, might I add, this dog beast that has made it's appearance..."

Jim face palmed, "Her last name too! Ugh! How did we miss it?!"

Draal peaked a brow, confused, "What are you going on about?" He huffed, "I'd love to know." His voice dripped with sarcasm.

"Sonya Loboan." Arrrgh rumbled, pointing to the book, more precisely, the image of a random Loboan with its head thrown back howling.

Draal froze up at this, "You cannot be serious..." he said darkly, his lips raised above his pointed teeth.

Blinky sighed, shutting the book, "All the signs point to one possible solution . . ." he took a deep breath before speaking, "Sonya Wolf . . . may very well be . . . a Loboan . "

Draal scoffed, "So, she may have a smilier bracelet, and her last name just happens to be Wolf that does not make her a . . a, uh . . ."

"Loboan." Arrrgh rumbled.

"Exactly!" Draal nodded to Arrrgh, "She does not display the fangs or the pointed ears." He added.

Blinky peaked a brow before opening the book again, showing a young male Loboan, having no fangs in his human form, and no pointed ears, "Sonya is obviously a juvenile Loboan. What peaks my interest is why she choses to hide her true form from us, if these illustrations are any indicate, Loboans were impressive to gaze upon!"

Jim shrugged, "Well, you said it yourself Blink, the Loboans vanished after the battle of Killahead, maybe they wanna keep it that way." he folded his arms.

Claire sighed, "Well, if Sonya is what we think she is, we should try to get her to show us what she looks like . . . right?" she asked.

Arrrgh shrugged, "Try at least." he sat down with a huff.

Blinky shut the book again, before Draal spat in an irritable tone, "What is it that makes these Loboans so different?" he pointed to the book, "Just by glance, they look like werewolves."

"Ah, you see," Blinky set the book on the shelf, "Loboans are not affected by the full moon, and silver cannot harm them, it is also said that Loboan blood can heal the most severe of injuries and poisons even . . . Creeper's Sun." he said.

Toby stepped in, "Well, Arrrgh isn't poisoned anymore, but that's still awesome-sauce!"

"Well said, Tobias!" Blinky exclaimed, "Then it is settled, we shall uncover the secret of the Loboan!"

Jim winced, "Oh, no . . ." he looked to Draal, "Draal if Sonya is . . . what we think she is . . . do you think that . . .?"

Draal's eyes widened, "You cut her mouth open . . . and I . . .punched her in the muzzle . . ." he shuddered.

Jim's shoulder's slumped, "Oh, man . . .!"
