(That Evening)~~Third Person's POV

Jim was upstairs making dinner for himself and his mother, while Draal was in Jim's basement, getting cozy by the furnace with it's glowing coals. Draal was in deep thought, thinking of that girl Sonya. So different from Claire, taller, faster, much stronger. Her eyes were like two emeralds glowing so brightly with a fire he had never seen in a human.

Then again, Sonya wasn't human, she was a Loboan. It was hard for Draal to wrap his head around it, that teeny human can change into a towering human/wolf hybrid at the slightest thought. Draal hummed as he reached into the furnace, taking up a handful of coals and popping them in his mouth. A loud crunch was heard as he chomped down on them, chewing contentedly.

As Draal chewed, he heard a clatter. The bulky Troll's head snapped up as something slammed into the teeny basement window, and fell through. Instantly, Draal hid behind the furnace, his eyes wide. If this was a human, he would have a lot of explaining to do.

"Ouch . . ." Came a familiar voice.

Draal peaked a brow, he knew that voice. . . he looked out from behind the furnace and his fire-like eyes widened, "Sonya?!"

True enough, Sonya Wolf sat up, huffing and panting, her face littered with small cuts. She looked up, "Draal? What are you doing in Jim's basement?" she demanded, confused.

Draal chuffed, walking out, "I live down here to protect the Trollhunter's fleshbag mother." he folded his bulky arms, "What are you doing in here." he growled.

Sonya looked out the small window, her skin was pale and her green eyes were wide. Draal could see the veins bulging in her neck as she panted hard and fast.

"Oh, no reason." Sonya replied, keeping her cool voice.

Draal peaked a brow, "You wide eyes and pale skin say otherwise." his voice became laced with concern, only a little bit of it though, "What is wrong?"

Sonya looked at him, "Why would you care?"

"I don't." Draal retorted, "I am concerned that you may have led Goblins or Changelings to the Trollhunter's home!" he barked.

Sonya scoffed, before the sound of police sirens filled the air, she yelped and ducked low, pressing her body to the wall just under the window as the flashing of blue and red flashed in the window.

Draal shielded his eyes for a brief moment before the frantic sound of a woman filled the air, "I swear officer!" she cried, in hysterics, "It was a giant wild thing! I-it looked like some deranged brown dog!"

Draal's eyes widened before he looked to Sonya, who was gone. Draal stuttered before he looked around the space, only to find the young woman had . . . vanished. Draal scratched his head in pure bewilderment.

What was it that Sonya was running from? The cop lights and the woman screaming , . . . Draal tried to wrap his head around it but failed.

What was Sonya hiding?
