Sonya's POV~

Once in Trollmarket, I took to Blinky's library, while Draal to the Forge to train with Jim. I sat on a stool, and opened a book and began reading. I crossed one leg over the other, and my tail coiled around the stool leg as I began reading. I heaved a deep sigh, my tail flickering as I flipped through the pages.

This book was some old Loboan Folk Tails, my emerald eyes scanned over the Loboan runes. My expression soft as my finger, I yawned and winced slightly, feeling my side burn with pain.

"Ms. Wolf?"

I looked up, seeing Blinky poke his head in, "Hey, Blinky." I greeted, closing the book.

Blinky made his way over and looked at the cover of the book I was reading, "Interesting, Loboan Folklore." he asked.

I nodded, "Yeah, more like Fairytails I was told when I was a pup." I held the book to him.

Blinky took the book in one of his four arms and opened the book, he began flipping through the pages, "Very interesting . . ." he mumbled as his six eyes scanned over the pages, "ver, very interesting." he looked up at me.

I nodded, "Mostly legends based off the songs of heroes from their adventures." I explained, then winced, holding my side.

Blinky's six eyes flashed down to my flank, "I heard you were wounded in the Black Mountains . . ." he looked up at me, "is it bad?"

I sighed deeply, "It was . . . but the pain is . . . tolerable." I mumbled, pinning back my ears.

Blinky sighed, and put the book down, "Ms. Wolf, if I may," he looked up at me, "I know that you suffered an injury at the hands of a Hunter, and in doing so, you saved our Trollhunter," he reached out and held my hand, "as Master Jim's trainer, and as your friend, you have my thanks." he smiled.

I chuckled, waving it off, "Please, it's all part of the job. For the doom of Gunmar, am I right?" I chuckled.

Blinky froze up, "In a way, of course, for the doom of Gunmar." He then cleared his throat, "So, Loboan, how do you feel about going a few rounds in the Hero's Forge?" he asked, smirking.

I peaked a brow, "Blinky, I'm hurt, I don't wanna re-open anything." I reasoned.

"Or is it simply a scape goat because you are scared?"

I turned my head seeing Draal stride in, with Jim, Toby, Claire and Arrrgh. I felt my ears slowly pin back, "Oh, this is not because of fear, Stone Skin."

Draal smirked, "Then prove it. Come, train with the Trollhunter and myself." he challenged.

I bared my teeth and stood, ignoring the pain in my flank, "Oh, I will," I walked around the table and got in Draal's face, "I'll pound you into a pile of rock dust, Horn Head." I snarled, and turned my eyes to Jim, "And I'll eat you alive." I snarled.

"Uh-oh." Arrrgh rumbled.

"This outta be good." Toby added, folding his arms.

Jim put his hands up in mock surrender, "Full discloser, I don't think you sitting out is an act of fear." he said.

I smirked then popped my neck, "Good. That makes pummeling the both go you all that more gratifying." I began walking to the Forge. As I made my way there with Draal and Jim along with the others in toe, I felt the fire in my soul spark to life again.

Maybe it was Draal's challenge of my bravery, or the fact that I was on the mend. Or maybe it was the burning desire to send that Hunter to hell for what he did to me, and for murdering my Mama. Either way, I felt this burning sensation in my chest and gut that made my blood run hot and made my mind sharp as any blade.

Once in the forge, I spared no time in popping my knuckles and taking the bandage off my wound, leaving it raw and exposed. I let the bandage fall, and I let a growl rumble through my vocal cords, the bandage was probably going to get ripped off anyways.

Jim froze, before he looked at Draal, "We've already trained so . . ."

Draal let out an annoyed sigh, "So be it, Jim, you may go."

"Thank you!" Jim exclaimed, before he yelped and took off, taking shelter behind Blinky, who didn't look to pleased with Jim's bailing out.

I popped my knuckles and began circling Draal who kept his eyes trained on me, I lowered my stance and pinned my ears. I felt my claws unsheathe from my fingers, and my hands flexed and twitched, as my lips writhed up above my fangs.

"You going to make a move, or shall I?" Draal teased, as he snorted.

I stopped circling and got down on all fours, my tail lashing, "Come and try me, you Guard Dog." I snarled.

Behind me, I could hear Toby, "Five bucks says Draal slams her into the wall." he said to Claire.

Claire peaked a brow, "I dunno, Sonya's beat Draal before. Five says she takes Draal down."

I rolled my eyes and looked to Draal who flexed his good hand, "I am no Guard Dog!" he ran at me and tried to punch me, but I easily dodged, I put Draal's arm in a joint lock and threw him over my shoulder,

"Is that so?" I taunted as I bounced up and down a little bit, getting amped up, "Because, you live in Jim's basement, you guard his house and his mother and you help protect him." I circled him, "Sounds like a Guard Dog to me."

Draal let out a roar of anger as he charged me, "I am no Dog." he bombarded me with punches, I managed to slip and dodge a few but I was reduced to blocking and enduring.

I snarled as I was hit multiple times, I felt anger rise in my gut, "If anything, you are the dog." He grabbed my arm and tossed me across the forge.

I yelped, and rolled across the stone, listening to his words, "You run on all fours, eat meat raw, and I dare not think how you groom yourself!" he taunted, chuckling.

I stood up, and I felt blood run down my face, I felt my eye twitch, before my head snapped around at him. He's only trying to get under my skin, I told myself, his anger blinds him. Make him angry, taunt him. I held my head before I spat on the floor,

"Wow," I popped my neck, "that was a bit harsh." I then bared my teeth, "Then again, it would be like a coward to resort to petty insults to get under a woman's skin." I smiled.

Draal froze, "Wha? I do not need insults!" He charged me, tucking into a roll.

I stepped back on my leg, feeling my muscles bunch up, "Is that so? Well, forgive me for being optimistic," I lowered my stance, "maybe a swift kick in the pants will set my wind to rest!" I swung my leg around and litterally kicked Draal's rolling form.

"Whoaa-ahh!" Draal skidded our of control, and slammed into the wall.

I chuckled and dusted my hands off, I then took note that I was, indeed filthy and in need of a bath. I looked up as Draal staggered to his feet,

"You . . . you kicked me!" He exclaimed.

I shrugged and walked up to him, "Oh, I think you'll live." I patted his head, making him growl in anger.

"You . . . ! You . . .!" He balled up his fists.

I walked past him, "I'm sure you will come up with a proper insult when I get back." I taunted.

"From where?!" Draal retorted, annoyed.

I turned to him and walked backward, "Well you have wondered how us Loboans keep clean." I winked then left, leaving Draal a stuttering, angry mess in my wake.
