Third Person's POV~

Sonya rolled over onto her side, before opening her eyes. Draal was snoring behind her with an arm draped over her waist. Sonya then sat up, and looked out the small window of the basement at the moon that hovered in the darkened sky. So, it was still night. Sonya pulled her knees to her chest, her brown hair fell across her face, her emerald eyes shining in the darkened space. Sonya reached up and touched the scar on her forehead before she sighed deeply.

Sonya then heaved Draal's arm off her lap and stood up, she shuffled over to a box and rummaged about, before she pulled out a fresh green tank top and her old gray jeans. Sonya quickly changed her clothes before she  fixed up her hair in a pony tail. Sonya let her bangs frame her heart-shaped face before she rubbed the band around her wrist, the black band that signified what she was.

The black band with the emerald wolf on it. The symbol of the Loboan. Sonya flexed her hand before she looked to Draal who was on his back, snoring. The fire had died, and left Sonya and Draal in the dark. Sonya stayed barefoot as she moved to the window and looked out to the moon before closing her eyes and pressing her forehead to the small sheet of glass.

Sonya, after a few moments, opened her eyes and stepped back. She then turned and was about to sit back down when she heard a deep huffing sound. Sonya froze at this, and whirled back to the window, something catching her sensitive nose.

"What the . . .?" She walked to the window and poked her head out and what she saw made her heart drop. She saw something out of one's nightmares.

It looked Loboan enough but . . . something was off. It moved about on all fours, she could smell the blood and flesh on it's body, and it made Sonya gag.

Sonya watched from the basement window, and saw a glimpse of it's fangs--yellow, rotting, clotted with plague and meat. It's fur was matted and the gemstones that normally would litter a Loboan's body were chipped off and some looked like they had been ripped off, leaving scarred patches in the fur.

"Holy . . ." Sonya recognized this behavior, she'd seen it once . . . very long ago, when she was just a youngling pup, when her father's eye was scratched out by one of this breed.

Shashy.

Sonya felt her blood run cold at the sight of this creature, as it sniffed about Jim's house, before it froze, it's tail twitching. It then spun around and looked right at Sonya, and poor Sonya was paralyzed by fear and terror. Her eyes steadily widened as the Shashy grinned, showing it's yellow, blood-stained teeth and rotting gums.

"Pure. . . Loboan." he growled in a strained voice.

"Holy sh-" Sonya didn't get to finish as the Shashy lunged, smashing through the glass with one deformed hand and grabbing Sonya by her hair, and yanked hard.

"Lemme go!" Sonya roared, struggling violently.

The racket woke Draal in an instant and he shot up, and once he saw that. . . thing in the window he sprung into action.

"Let her go, monster!" Draal slammed his metal fist into the Shashy, and he squealed as he let go. Sonya fell to her knees as she rubbed her head.

Draal knelt beside her, "Sonya, are you . . ." he touched her hear lightly.

Sonya looked up at him, and smirked, "I'm fine, Horn Head." she then stood and assumed her Loboan form, pinning her ears, "Meet me out there." She slipped out the window.

Draal froze, before running up the stairs, fear gripping his heart. Something told him that this . . . this was not going to end well.
