Sonya's POV~

I sat at the edge of the Forge with Arrrgh, Blinky, Toby and Claire, my eyes focused on Jim as he sparred with that Troll Draal. I winced as Jim was sent tumbling across the stones, he got back up and dodged a downward blow from Draal's axe.

"Come now, Trollhunter!" Draal growled, assuming a fighting stance, "Stop running, come at me!" he snorted as if he were a bull, his nostrils flaring.

I scoffed, leaning back on my open palms, watching as Jim yelled and ran at the blue troll. I peaked a brow, unfazed as Jim was hurled across the Forge, I winced as he made impact.

"Oh, I think I broke my butt!" he shouted, sitting up.

I leaned forward and braced myself up on my knees as I watched Jim get back up and charge Draal again, "Tch," I scoffed, "Jim! Go low and get under his guard!" I shouted.

Jim glanced at me before he ran left and then right, going zig-zag so Draal couldn't pinpoint him, he then skidded in his knees getting under Draal's strike, he then shot up and pressed Daylight to his throat. Jim seemed shocked that my advice actually worked and so did Draal.

"Well done, Trollhunter." Draal pulled away, clearing his throat, "Changing your tactic will throw your opponent off guard."

Claire turned to me as the two began another round, "How did you know that would work?" she asked, with wide, curious eyes.

I shifted and sat crosslegged, watching Jim and Draal spar and fight, "I have had training. MMA, BJJ, Krav Maga." I explained, my eyes glued on the sparing duo.

"BJJ?" Blinky echoed, "What is this BJJ?" he asked.

"Brazilian Jujitsu," I replied, watching as Jim ducked a blow and kicked Draal in the gut, "my Dad wanted me to learn how to fight." I shrugged simply, before wincing, "Aw, Jim, he's weak at the left!" I barked, seeing Draal was favoring his right a little more.

Jim huffed looking at me, "Sonya, not help-WHOAA!!!" He screamed as Draal grabbed his arm and tossed him across the Forge before the bulky troll turned on me,

"I am training the Trollhunter!" he snorted, glaring at me, "You do not need to interfere, Fleshbag!" he snarled.

I rolled my eyes, "Would it kill you to call me Sonya?" I snapped back, standing up.

Draal snarled and walked over to me, "If you keep speaking in such a way, I just might do so!" he tightened his grip on his axe.

I peaked a brow and folded my arms, not really feeling threatened, "Ok, fine. I'll butt out." I backed off and sat down next to Toby and Arrrgh.

Draal huffed, "Good." he growled and turned back to Jim, "Trollhunter, again!" he ran at him and swung his axe.

Toby looked at me, "Are you insane?" he hissed, grabbing my shoulders, "Draal would've smashed you--like a grape!" he shook me.

I grunted and pulled free, "Doubt it." I folded my arms.

Arrrgh cocked his head to the side, "How know?" he asked, in his choppy, broken speech.

"Simple," I pointed to the Troll and Jim as they locked in combat, "look at his face, there's no emotion, no determination to win," Draal's face was contorted into a grit scowl, his teeth bared, but his eyes didin't have that fire, that look to win, "if there was a trace of that, yes, I would've been worried." I rubbed the back of my neck, my hands running over the two gold hoops in my ear.

Blinky peaked a brow before looking at them, "Hmm, you . . . are correct Ms. Wolf." he turned back to me, "How are you so versed in combat? Surely such knowledge isn't simply gained through a . . . BJJ class." he said.

I shrugged, "Experience. I studied a lot of champs from the UFC--" I stopped short seeing their perplexed looks, I then sighed, "UFC: Ultimate Fighting Champion." I elaborated, "Anyways, I spent a lot of my off time studying the champs." I shrugged, "Leaned from observation and personal experience."

"Awesome-sauce!" Toby gaped, "So, you're like, a martial arts master?" he asked, his eyes wide.

"Uh, no." I shook my head, "I'm nowhere near as experienced as some." I shrugged a shoulder.

"Wait," Claire butted in, "can you show us?" she asked with wide hopeful eyes, "y'know, that BJJ stuff you were going on about?"

I peaked a brow, "Against who? Draal?" I jabbed a thumb at him, "He'd crush me."

"Then what about me?" Claire stood up, "I'd love to see how it works!" she giggled.

I shook my head, "I'd snap you in half, Sweetheart." I rolled my eyes, "Besides, it's Jim's training time, not mine."

"WHATCH OUT!!!"

My head snapped to attention as if it were set to a trigger and I saw Draal's axe hurling right at Toby.

"Tobes move!" Jim yelled.

I sprang into action, like a cat, I jumped at Toby and tackled him before turning over on my back and kicking the axe on the flat of the blade, sending it off course ever so slightly so it landed inches from the side of my face. Toby was on my other side, panting rapidly. I scoffed and sat up, brushing myself off before glaring at Jim,

"A little warning next time, ok?" I asked, folding my arms.

"How . . . did . . . you do that?!" Toby sat up, amazed by my fast reflexes and how I diverted the axe from splitting my head open.

I shrugged, "Adrenaline." I replied before my eyes caught Draal's wide-eyed look. I simply shrugged it off and grabbed the axe with both hands, I got my hips under my body and wrenched the axe free, I grunted as I hefted it over my shoulder I walked over to Draal,

"I believe this is yours." I tapped the hilt with my finger.

Draal seemed to snap out of his daze and he took the axe from me, "Uh, thank you." he mumbled before turning to Jim, "Trollhunter, let us continue!" he brandished his axe.

I sighed and walked back over to my spot and sat next to Blinky this time.

"Quite the display of skill, Ms. Wolf." Blinky noted.

I shrugged, "Hey, I'm not 18 yet, call me Sonya," I chuckled before wincing as Jim was thrown across the Forge yet again, "Jeez, Lake is getting his butt kicked."

Arrrgh spoke, "Worried about fight."

"What fight?" I asked, peaking a brow.

Blinky hesitated before speaking, "Gunmar is out, he managed to escape through Killahead Bridge," he said in a low tone.

"Oh, the Gumm-Gumm King." I said softly, "That's not good." I stared at Jim again.

"Not good at all," Blinky concurred.

I peaked a brow before smirking, realizing what I had gotten myself into, "At least this'll be interesting..."
