2- Mentor Lisa

『Year 2018』

"Lisa! Lisa!"

Lisa turn around just to see Jisoo running towards her, panting heavily.  It's currently lunch break and they decided to hang out in the library, not that Jisoo agreed to it, but more like forced to.

"Shh, be quiet!" The librarian whispered-yelled.

"Sorry..." Jisoo said and the next second, she turn around making funny faces mimicking the librarian causing Lisa to chuckle at her friend's behaviour.

"Lisa, I'm done for." Jisoo whined, falling down next to Lisa and used her leg as a pillow.

"Get off me, you're heavy..."

"No I'm not!" Jisoo said and took the book in Lisa's hand and use it to cover her face.

"What happened?" Lisa decided not to joke around when she realised Jisoo was serious.

"The principal made a new rule..."

"And what is the new rule?"

"We need to have at least a GPA of more than three to participate in school activities..."

"What's wrong with that?"

"Yah! You smart kid knew I have a GPA of lower than two and I'm in the theatre club..." Jisoo whined.

"So what you're saying is you need to score a minimum GPA of three to participate in the upcoming theatre show? If not, you're kicked out of the club?"

"Yeah, sort of..."

"Then pay attention to class." Lisa adviced.

"I tried but close my eyes the minute the teacher open their mouth."

"Can't help with that then..." Lisa shrugged.

"My parents even enrolled me to those private tutor shit for maths. And do you know how arrogant the teacher is, I wanna smack him so hard." Jisoo said, sitting up and swipe her hand across the air, smacking an imaginary teacher, dropping Lisa's book that was on her face previously.

"Hey, my book!"

"He keep saying shit about how his practice questions always come out in exam." Jisoo added and took the practice questions paper out from her bag.

"Let me take a look."

Jisoo then hand the paper to Lisa.

After Lisa look through the paper, she goes back to question one and look at Jisoo with a blank face.

"What?" Jisoo asked innocently.

"This is so easy..."

"I'm not smart like you Lisa!"

"This answer is C, 30."

"How?"

"0=24+6-x, you need to find the unknown so take 'negative x' as '0' and move the 'negative x' to the other side so it becomes 'positive x'. Now the equation is x=24+6 so just add the number and you get x=30."

"Yeah, t-that's correct. That's what I thought too." Jisoo said causing Lisa to laugh.

"Just admit you don't know how to solve it, no one is gonna bite you."

"Whatever... So what about question two?"

"Do it yourself. It's your homework, I can't help you with all the questions. Unless you don't know how to do it."

"Dumbass, I asked for your help so it's obvious I don't know how to do the whole paper..." Jisoo retorted.

"So I'm a dumbass huh? Are you saying I'm dumb?"

"N-no! You're a genius. A genius! So help me please... Mentor?" Jisoo pleaded.

"Who's your mentor?"

"You! Mentor Lisa." Jisoo teased.

"Don't call me that... It's weird."

"Oh come on, help your best friend here would ya? You said you wanted to watch me perform at the theatre show right? If I failed my next exam, you won't be able to see it."

"And what do I get?" Lisa asked, knowing she can't reject Jisoo.

"I'll buy all your food for the next whole month?"

"Three months..." Lisa offered.

"That's a bit too much Lisa, two months deal?"

"Fine." Lisa finally agreed.

"Thank you Mentor Lisa!" Jisoo said and hug her.

"I said don't call me that!"
