Chapter 9

Lisa's POV

I woke up feeling a heavy object on my chest and a hand clinging onto my waist. I slowly opened my eyes seeing that it wasn't an object, but a beautiful brunette. It was Jennie.

I would have say that my first night that I spent here in Korea was great because I woke up with a beautiful brunnete beside me but no, we didn't have a mind blowing sex for her to end up with me in bed, My hand came to caress her cheek and look at how gorgeous her bared face is while remembering how she took care of me last night.

Glancing to the clock in my bedside table, I remembered that Seulgi and I had scheduled a visit to the site. I texted Seulgi to come and pick me up in 30 minutes. I tried to let go of Jennie's body, trying not to wake her up. As much as I wanted to linger this moment beside her, cuddling isn't my thing and I have to prioritize work.

She groaned when I lift her hand and I slide out of the bed. I put my pillow for Jennie to lean on. Sighing I went to the bathroom to take a shower even if I’m still dizzy. I took a warm and fast shower because I’m still cold. 

I quietly step out of the bathroom seeing that Jennie is still in a deep slumber of sleep. I wore a polo and tuck it in my slacks, when my phone dings I knew that Seulgi had already arrived to fetch me. Glancing at Jennie, I decided to write her a letter before going out and put it on the bedside table near her phone.

Ms. Kim,

Thank you for nursing me last night and sorry for not waking you up.

As I walk downstairs some of her maid bowed down to me and greeted me a good morning, I only gave them a nod, as I hurriedly walk outside her mansion. Seulgi was waiting outside, I was surprised to see her riding a yellow Mercedes-AMG GT C. The asshole showed off as the car automatically hid it’s roof, this one’s convertible huh. She waved her hand at me and smirk.

“You got a new car?” She shook her head.

“Is this Irene’s? I didn’t know she has a god taste in choosing car.” I said amazed.

“Will you hop in or not?” i rolled my eyes at her as I hop into her car.

"Irene told me that you were sick last night." I hummed in response as I look on the road.

"Are you okay now?"

"I'm feeling better." I was startled when I felt a hand in my neck, Seulgi was checking my body temperature by the back od her palm, I quickly shoved it away.

"Holy shit Lisa!You're still burning!"

I rolled my eyes "You're always overreacting Seulgi."

"Damn it Manoban, you shouldn't come with me to the site. I'll take you back to Jennie's mansion." She motioned the car to take over.

"Don't you dare Seulgi." I glared at her and my voice were stern, she looked at me hesitant first then sigh, I know how she's afraid of me.

"Did Jennie knows that you're here with me?" She asked while focusing on the road.

"The moment that she'll wake up, maybe.."

She was about to talk but her phone rang she immediately put the ear phone.

"Hey." she smiles.
"She's with me." she looked at me.

"Who's that?" I asked.

"I know right, hell she's too stubborn." she ignored my question and continued focusing on the road while talking.
