Chapter 36: Dreams in Dream land

JENNIE’S POV

I looked at the mirror to see the dark circles below my eye, After waking up from my dream I didn’t want to get some sleep anymore, afraid that I would dreamed about it again.

I kept thinking about Lisa and the blonde woman, I recall the moments where I dreamed of them in the park. Of the entire dream that I had that one was different, I know that it was really Lisa who looked into my eyes when I cried, I felt that in that moment she really saw me.

Was that really possible? That Lisa was trapped in a world where she have totally forgotten me? I look at my bumped when suddenly I felt my baby kicked.

“Baby.. I know how excited you are to come out there. I hope your daddy’s awake before that happens.” I faintly smile. I sighed when I remember what Morpheus told me about losing the baby, which I won’t let to happen.

“Mommy will protect you at all costs, I promise.”

Just as I was about to get out of the bathroom I heard my phone rang. I slowly walked to avoid slipping and thankfully the caller was patient for me to answer the call.

“Thank God you answered.” I heard Irene unnie say on the other line.

“I’m about to get dress, I just came from the bathroom.”

“Okay,we’re on our way to get you. I’m so excited to know the baby’s gender Jen!”she lightly squealed that made me chuckle.

“Me too unnie, whatever gender it may be I’ll gladly accept as long as the baby’s healthy. Anyway ws Wendy unnie driving you here?” There was a long pause before she answered.

“Ah actually I’m with Seulgi. Wendy has more rounds to do in the hospital so she called Seulgi to accompany me.”

“Oh okay unnie, Take care the both of you.”

“Alright Jen see you.”

I rummage my closet nd choose the maternity dress that Irene unnie gave me, tying my hair up and putting some light make up on my face to hide the dark circles below my eye. I herd the screech of tires so I decided to finally look at the mirror and settle my look.

“Jen!” I heard Irene unnie

“Coming!” I went out of the room to see Irene meeting me halfway
“Hello there angel.” She cheekily smile as she caress my baby bump.

“Ready Jen?” she turned to me as she gave me a peck in the cheek. I nodded and smile as she took my hand to drag me out of my house. I sawSeulgi wave at me when she opened the car window so I smile and waved back.

“You two are okay now huh?” I nudged Irene.

“As if I have a choice, I have to go back to my house since Yeri will be coming back.” She replied with a sigh.

“Really that naughty sister of yours? I miss her.” Yeri was the little sister of Irene unnie and she was like that too to me.

“Uhuh, she knows I’m staying with my girlfriend so she threatened me to tell it to our parents if I didn’t go back to my house to look after her.”

“So no more lovey dovey with Wendy unnie huh?” I teased and she rolled her eyes.

“Ofcourse we can still do that when we both have spare time.”she said giggling before opening the door for me. I sat on the back seat, while Irene unnie was at the shotgun seat and Seulgi in the driver seat.
