Chapter 21

Irene's POV

I have recieved a call from Manager Yang that Jennie and I would be flying to Paris to sign a contract to the Manoban Clothing Line and to personally meet Mr. Utz the CEO of Celine because aside from Lisa's company we will be also collaborating with them.

"You sure you don't want me to go with you?" Wendy asked. As early as 8 am she's already here annoying me in my house. We were now sitting at the balcony drinking our coffee.

"You sounded like you're my girlfriend." I rolled my eyes at her. She closed the textbook that she was reading.

"You know you'll be mine soon." she cheekily smiled at me and we both chuckled.

Wendy was a kind and soft-hearted woman. I didn't really allowed her to court me because I haven't been to a same sex relationship. Clearly this woman was eager to make me fall for her, I wouldn't lie to say that she makes my heart flutter whenever she make an effort to go to my house everyday just to check on me and bring me breakfast before she go to her med school and even dropping to my house at night after her shoot for her shows.

"You aren't allowed to go with me, you still have school to attend."

"Would you allow me if I don't have?" She asked grinning at me.

"I dont know, maybe." I look away from her.

"I knew it, I can feel you'll be mine soon."

"Oh don't be so cocky. Will you focus on your study now?" I reached for the text book and open it to the page that she was reading earlier.

"Why are you concern about my studies now huh?"

"Oh please, all woman would be wanted to have a bright future with her lover."

She became quiet, when I look at her her hands were now holding her chest, with her eyes wide and she was gasping for air. I run to her direction as I panicked I bend and brought one of my hand to caressed her back as I rested the other one on the hand in her chest.

"Wendy, wendy are you okay? Just bre---" I wasn't able to finish what I was about to say because before I knew it she was holding my hand that were resting on her chest as she cup my face and her lips moving with mine.

My breath hitched as I felt her heart beat through my palm that was fast as mine, she was closing her eyes savoring the moment. As much as I wanted to get out of her grip she was the one who parted our lips while slowly opening her eyes.

"W-what was that for?"

"You just told me you wanted a bright future with me, and I couldn't be more happy." She look at me lovingly while caressing my chin. I blinked for several times realizing what I have said. My body automatically straightened as I heard something fell on the floor. We both looked at the door of the balcony to see Seulgi standing there.

My face suddenly heated at the thought that Seulgi might have witnessed what happened. She bend to get something on the floor, and I turn to see that it was her phone.

"I, uh Bambam called me saying that we'll scheduled our flight the next day. I'll just go with Yoona to fetch Lisa's secretary in the airport." I nodded as she look at me and look at Wendy.

"Don't you want to eat Seulgs?" Wendy asked.

"No, I guess I'll have my breakfast with them."

Wendy nodded. "Take care then."

"Yeah, you too." Seulgi turn at her back.

"What time will you be going back to school?" I spoke to wendy not looking at her.
