Chapter 34: Baby

Time skip; 4 months after Lisa's accident.

Jennie's POV

"You ready Jen?" Irene took my hand as she gave it a squeeze. I sigh and nodded.

Yesterday I was finally able to conduct the Patternity test. Kai was ecstatic when he found out that I was pregnant, he even gave a DNA sample because he was sure of himself that this child was his and I wanted to puke on that thought . Deep inside me I was so sure that the child that I was bearing was Lisa and I's.

I didn't want to agree in letting Kai participate in this but Irene convinced me too for us to prove that it really wasnt his.

"Wendy will be here in a minute to announce the result." She added, I look at Lisa who's still lying in the hospital bed.

The door slightly opened as Irene stood up and spread her arms wide expecting her girlfriend to come in, but immediately crosses her arms when the unexpected visitor came in.

"What are you doing here Seulgi?" I couldn't sew Irene's facial expression but I can hint the irritation in her voice.

"We found out that Jennie took the Patternity test yesterday, and we want to know the results too." Seulgi calmly said looking at Irene, Sunmi and Joy entered the room but the latter was still standing at the door because apparently Irene was blocking her way.

"Hi Jen, I hope you're doing well." Joy smiled at me as she stand on my side,  I smiled at her too.

"Can I touch?" Sunmi asked smiling as she looked on my baby bump. She look at me asking dor permission and I nodded.

"And you got interested about Jennie's pregnancy now huh? For what to insult her if ever you find out that the child isn't Lisa's? Irene crosses her arm.

"No, no it's not that." Seulgi looked at me. "Jennie, I wanted to say sorry. For everything, for being such a bitch towards you. I shouldn't have done that, I shouldn't have blame you and call you names knowing that Kai harassed you that night. I'm really sorry that I let my anger took over everything." She pleaded, And I can see the sincerity in her eyes.

"And Irene, I'm really sorry. I should have not acted that way, I don't want you to leave my place... I- I regret that night.. I shouldn't have done that.." I can see the tears that were breaming in Seulgi's eyes when she spoke to Irene. Irene raised her hand to stop her.

"I don't want to hear any of it anymore." Irene turn her back to her as she timidly smiled at me. "As long as Jennie will forgive, You're forgiven." I smile at her and she went to seat on the couch.

I have this feeling that this two has another issue, and the reason for Irene to leave Seulgi's place was another thing.

I sighed before smiling at Seulgi, I opened my arms wide as I stood up offering her a hug. The tears stream down her cheeks before she cheekily smiled at me and run to my direction as she engulf me with a hug.

"I'm really sorry Jen, You know how much I love you and Lisa. And whatever may be the result, I'll stand by at your side... of the only woman that my best friend love.." she whispers as she caresses my back.

"Thank you Seulgi." I patted her back, resting my head on her shoulder. We were on that position when the door swing opened. I was the one who parted from the hug and she went to Joy's side.

"Didn't know you guys are here." Wendy spoke as she looked at Seulgi.

"We were excited to know the result too." Joy smiled at her as she sat beside Irene.
