Chapter 30: Beginning of the End

Jennie's POV

2 days have passed after our wonderful night in Paris, After that night we went back to Korea to celebrate the birthday of Wendy but apparently the two chooses to celebrate it in Irene's hometown in Daegu, for Irene to introduced Wendy in her parents.

I was happy for the both of them, Finally Irene had found the woman that she deserved. I would be honest that at first I was really rooting for her and Seulgi. I know that Seulgi was really smitter to unnie and I was shocked when I found out that she had reconcile with her ex but then it was her decision anyway. I started to accept Irene and Wendy's relationship when I see how Wendy made Irene so happy.

"When are you going to go back here in Seoul?" I ask Irene in the line.

"Probably tonight. Is Lisa with you?"

"Nope. But she told me she'll comeback tomorrow." After our trip to Paris Lisa had scheduled my flight to Korea because she still has an emergency meeting in Paris.

"Are you breaking up with Kai?"

"Yes, Im going to talk to him tonight. When Lisa came back, I want everything to be alright between us." I said eager.

I told Kai that both of us needed to talk, before the day end I'm going to cut all of my connections to him, so Lisa and I can start.

"You sure you won't wait for me? Kai might hurt you." She suggested.

"He wouldn't, I know him unnie. I can do this. I have to do this alone, just please trust me."

"Alright." she sighed. "Jennie, I'm reminding you not to messed everything up. Do the right thing this time."

"I promise."

"Anyway, Wendy and i can drop by before we go home. Do you want something?"

"I'm thinking of goguma right now." I smirk.

"Alright, bye Jen."

"Take care unnie."

I ended the call with a deep sigh, I was quite nervous of the thought of talking with Kai. Somehow I don't want to end up hurting him but whatever my way is of breaking up with him will break his heart.

This is the right thing to do Jennie. I keep on chanting in my head, If I didn't do it now, I could lose Lisa and I wouldn't be able to afford that.

From Kai:

Babe, I'm on my way. I miss you xoxo

I had recieved a text from Kai. I went up to the living room and texted him back.

To Kai

Told you not to call me that anymore.

Sent.

Apparently breaking up with him wasn't that easy and that makes me nervous, I have already told Kai that we have to break up before I even get to go in Paris with Lisa. The problem was I couldn't tell him my reason, but now I'm ready.

It didn't talk that long when the door bell rings indicating that Kai is already here. I keep on sighing as I went to open the door. A pair of arms engulf me when I open it.

"I miss you so much." He spoke almost suffocating me as he hold me tight.

"Kai let me go." I whispered, slightly pushing him in the chest.
