Chapter 18

Seulgi's POV

Everything was going well, that's what I would like to think. The night that I and Joy talked again I honestly rejected her but she told me that she wouldn't give up and will make everything to take me back. I took a lot of time to think about my feelings for her, sure thing I still have feelings for that woman, she was once a dream. But being with Irene makes me more confuse for my feelings with Joy.

It was the moment that I saw her in Paris, Joy and I were long parted that time and Irene makes me feel the butterfly in my stomach again after a long time. I was more attracted when I got to live with her, although I found out that the real Irene was totally scary and cold.

"I heard Lisa will be staying here much longer." Wendy spoke as she pick some popcorn on the bucket, we were now at her house watching a movie but my mind can't seem to focus on it.

"Yeah, I wasn't really expectinf that she's going to accept all of the offers of interviews ans photo shoot with Jennie."

"That friend of yours really have it bad for Jennie."

"I think so too." I smiled remembering how the two would be all so clingy and touchy behind our back, they're obviously hiding what's going on between them but I know the way they look at each other, and sometimes I would caught them caressing each others hand.

"Are you staying here for good?"

"I don't know yet..." I really wasn't sure. "How's things between you and Irene?" I asked curious.

"I really like her unnie." Wendy smiled as she lean her head on the couch and look at the ceiling."Even she act like a bitch towards me, I really like her. The way she smile unnie, damn she's so beautiful when she does. She rarely smile and I wanted to be the reason why she will always will."

I've known my cousin for so long, Wendy and I may not grew up together but there wasn't a day we missed without talking to each other through phone, she was like a little sister to me.

"I would do everything to get her unnie, and when I do I'll never let her go." I gave her a timid smile as I saw the seriousness in her eyes, Wendy really fell for Irene and I wouldn't be able to blame her cause even I did...

Returning to the screen, my mind seems to get lost. I think I have made the right decision of getting back with Joy, maybe I just had a little cruch towards Irene. Yeah, maybe..

It was past 10 pm when I came back to Irene's house, the lights were already off and the maids were not around probably means that they're all asleep. I used the light of my phone to guide me towards my room when I heard Irene spoke.

"Are you really out of your mind?" She half yelled, my brows knitted as I walk towards her door.

"Seriously, why did you let her do that? You have a boyfriend!" Irene would not be happy to know I'm eavesdropping but I can't help it because of the curiosity.

"You should break up with him if you really want her." I waited to hear if there is someone inside her room but heard nothing means she's talking on her phone as she speaks again.

"Ruby fucking Jane I know you're freaking aware that what you're doing is cheating, Im gonna shave your hair off if you wouldn't fix your mess!" I can sense that Irene was really mad to whoever is that Ruby Jane.

"Dont try to make it much worse, Karma is a bitch and you'll be getting yours when you continue to behave that way." She sternly said as she groaned, she probably shut the call off. Shooking my head I headed towards my room.
